"Ahh." Michael said as he rested his arms behind his head and calmly sighs. "Nothing like a good day at the beach." He states and his older brother nods in agreement. "You said it, bro. I don't even remember the last time our whole family had time together." Kameron picks up a class of fruit punch and takes a sip while putting on his sunglasses.

The two brothers could hear snickering behind and took a look. They saw two of their sisters- Khole and Miku. Miku was the culprit of the snickering. She was laughing at Khole's terrible sunburn. "Stop laughing! It's not funny!" Khole said and snatched Miku's sun hat and embarrassedly put it on. "It is funny. Mom literally told you to wear sunscreen." Miku smiled and held up the sunscreen bottle as Khole rolled her eyes.
"Man. Khole, is that you? I couldn't even tell for a moment. You look like a smoked wiener." Kameron joked as Miku and Michael laughed. Khole got angry and snatched the sunscreen from out of Miku's purse and threw it at Kameron when he turned around. "Ow! Hey, it was a joke!" He shouted while rubbing the back of his head and all three siblings were laughing at him.

The four siblings then heard the sound of maybe two women screaming. "I knew bringing him was a bad idea." Michael shook his head. They turned around to see a woman with blonde hair screaming at Ritz, horrified. "Why are people so scared of him?" Miku asked through holding back laughter. Khole and Kameron shrugged as Michael began to speak. "Besides the fact that he's a humanoid rat? I wouldn't know." He stated and Kameron playfully nudged his shoulder.
They could see their mother and father walk up to the two women, their mother, who had their baby brother in her arms. "Is there a reason why you are scared of our son?" Their father asked with an annoyed tone. "T-that thing is your son?" The blonde woman asked, still seemingly scared. "My son is not a 'thing.' If you have a problem with him, you best let me know. Maybe we can solve that problem, hmm?" Their mother asks while innocently looking at her nails. The two women looked even more scared as they shook heads. "N-no ma'am." The blonde said as they ran away. "Yeah! I ain't no 'thing', bitch!" Ritz shouted. His father smacked the back of his head and told him to shut up.

"That's crazy. Me pers-" Kameron was about to speak until Michael slapped the back of his neck. "Don't instigate, man. Nobody likes an instigator." Michael said and his brother responded by making his hands go in a talking motion. "Yapping. Plus, I like instigating." Kameron said. Michael shook his head at his brother acting like a child.
"Darlings, where are Keith and Kaity? It's almost time to go." Their mother asks, packing everything back in her bag. "I think they're still swimming." Miku answers. They've literally been swimming ever since they got here. "Well can one of you go get them?" Their father asks and Michael nods his head and begins to walk to the water. Just as he starts walking, Keith and Kaity run out of the water as if they just saw a shark. "Beep!" Keith shouted and ran to his siblings. Michael curiously walked behind him.

"Whoa bro. What's wrong?" Kameron asked and Keith pointed at the water like a crazy person. "Ooooh! Is there a shark in the water?" Khole asks and Kaity intensely shakes her head 'no.' "Bebop. Bep boop!" Kaity shouts and the four older siblings look at them like they were insane. "A mermaid? Dude, seriously?" Michael asked and the two twins nodded. Michael sighed. "Guys, I can't take you seriously right now. Mermaids don't exist." He said and looked back at his older brother, who just shrugged. "And we definitely can't take you seriously when you always beep and boop. Speak normally, man." Kameron says and the two small twins sigh.
"We're not lying! We actually saw a mermaid! Don't one of you believe us?" Keith asks in his normal voice and everyone stood quiet until their older brother spoke up. "You both are 19 years old. You expect us to believe that you saw a mermaid? They don't exist, bro!" Kameron shouted and Keith and Kaity sadly sighed. "It's not worth it, Keith. They don't believe us." Kaity said as the two walked over to their mother, who greeted them with a big hug and smile.
"Come now, darlings! It's time to go!" Their mother happily exclaimed as they all begin walking to their car. Their father was holding basically everything and struggled to keep some things in his hands. They all laughed at him and he playfully rolled his eyes.

Micheal was sitting next to Kameron with Keith in between them. In the seats behind them, were Miku, Khole, and Kaity. Kaity sitting in between Miku and Kaity like Keith. Their younger brother was sitting upfront with their parents, and Ritz was sitting with Miku, Khole, and Kaity. Ritz was sitting in Miku's lap, as there were no more seats and he couldn't sit in the trunk because of their packings.
Keith would turn around to talk to Kaity, clearly talking about the 'mermaid' that they saw.

"Dude, can you stop talking about that? We all know you didn't see a mermaid." Kameron asked while pinching the bridge of his nose. "We're being serious. We saw one!" Keith says angrily in defense. "Oh really? Tell us what the mermaid looked like, then." Kameron says with a slight smirk. Kaity's face perks up, as she remembers almost every feature of the mermaid. "She was a female. She had pretty pastel hair that was in two braids with bows at the end. Her skin was a light purple-ish color, and her tail was a sort of pink." Everyone except for their parents and Keith looked at Kaity in surprise as she proudly folded her arms over her chest. "You.. really remember that much?" Miku asked. Kaity nods. "Whoa maybe you guys aren't lying. Coming up with that from the top of your head seems like a lot of work for you." Kameron points at his head while snickering a little. Kaity rolls her eyes and huffs. "Ugh. We really are telling the truth!" Keith shouts and Kameron shrugs and pulls out his phone and begins to text someone. "I don't know, man. We'll have to see her to believe you guys." Michael says and rest his head on his hand and looks out the window.
