King Arthur Cabrera
I woke up the next day, still feeling like I was beaten up by ten men.
"Who was with me when the accident happened?" My mom was caught off guard, she was busy with her phone when I said that.
"King, do you know him?" The guy I met that night, I remember. But not the accident itself.
I didn't answer her question. Knowing my mother, she would just relentlessly asked why I was with a stranger. "How was he?" I inquired.
"He's in a coma." I don't know what to feel, or I don't know how to feel. I was just staring at nothing.
I remember his smile.
Now he's in a coma.
He was with me when the car accident happened? I took deep breaths. "Did I lost my memory?" I asked my mom again.
"The doctor said it would come back in pieces, you will remember everything one by one. Your brain is still in shocked after what happened."
I remeber him opening the door for me nung inutusan kami ng isa kong ka-work na bumili ng yelo.

We were back in that eerie elevator. Feeling ko anytime, babagsak toh. But ok lang, kasi si crush naman kasama ko. Lols.
"Alam mo yung 20 questions and a lie?" He said while staring at me in the elevator door.
Umiling ako.
"We'll drop one question, alternately. 20 in total. Both of us should answer every question. But we can answer it with a lie, only one time. At the end, we'll guess ano yung lie sa lahat ng answers natin." Ang dami nung 20 ah, but that means more time with him.
"Matatapos ba natin yung 20 tonight?" Nakakunot noo kong tanong.
"Who said we'll finish it tonight?" What? Nilalandi ba nya ko? "But there's one rule, no follow-up questions with regards to the official ones. Or else we'll lose one question over the 20." Huh? Ano daw? Tangina hindi ko na-gets.
The elevator opened on one floor and biglang ang daming sumakay. Talaga bang isisiksik nyo sarili nyo kahit alam nyong masikip? King immediately came near me and put his one arm sa harap ko para di ako masiksik nung sumakay na malaking lalaki. Sana lang hindi ako nagba-blush ngayon, tho may excuse naman since lasing na ko slight.
I can smell his perfume, and feel his breaths on my nape. Tangina! Seryoso ba? Crush palang toh pero parang gusto ko na mag-asawa.
The elevator once opened sa 6th floor and everyone went out, natira ulit kaming dalawa. Then lumayo na sya sakin. Panira ng moment, mga yun.
"I'll drop the first question. Easy lang, your full name? Mine's King Arthur Cabrera." He said smugly then the elevator door opens.
"King Arthur as in myth?" I curiously asked habang palabas kami ng building.
"Oops! No follow up question, right?" He said while pointing his finger on the air. Edi don't. "How about you?"
"Aurora Vienne Yligan." Sabay pout. Tanga, lasing nga ako.
Ako lang ba or he looked amused? "Since I'm curious how everyone's calling you Avy, we can use your follow up question as an official one." Ah ganun pala yun? Kelan pa nauso tong tanungan na ganto? Parang pang-mayaman? Ang alam ko lang kasi sex or chocolate.
"King Arthur, since my parents are a big myth psychos." Napansin ko na nakalagpas na kami sa 7'11 nung sinabi nya yun.
"Uy, diba bibili tayo ng yelo?" Tinuro ko pa yung convenient store na puno din ng tao.
"Is that the 3rd question?" Luh si bhe, sarap konyatan. "We can buy later, let's stroll first." Tapos nag-gesture sya na parang pinapauna ako maglakad, yung parang princess. Luh, parang sira.
"Pero baka hanapin nila tayo?" I said, worried. Baka mamatay mga yun dahil di nakainom. Then he showed me his phone.
Me: Pre, pag di kami nakabalik within 15mins, pwede kayo nalang bumili ng yelo?
Karlo M.: Sino kasama mo pre?
Me: 😉
Hala, sira ba ulo nito?
"So, why Avy? Because A-V-Y? Aurora Vienne Yligan." He curiously asked.
"It's actually A from Aurora, then V-I from Vi-enne." I corrected. Sana hindi sya magtanong bakit Vienne sinabi ko kanina at hindi Avi.
"O-ok, I feel like I wasted that question."
"True that." I said.
"Haha, true that." He was laughing. Bakit ganun yung tawa? Parang future husband ko? Eme.
We continued walking, tama nga yung sabi ni Ate Raquel, ang dami ngang lasing. Meron nakahiga na sa kaldasa, shet I remember so many people. Oo na! Ako na! Meron sumusuka na sa gilid. Mga weak tong mga toh!
We passed a bar, and there are so many people inside. Kainggit! Gusto ko din sumayaw. Napansin ata ni King na napatitig ako dun kaya bigla syang nagtanong, "You wanna dance inside?"
"Is that a question?" Mayabang kong sabi.
He smiled like he's proud of me. "You're learning ah." Hindi ko alam anong pumasok sa isip ko, hinawakan ko yung kamay nya at hinila sya sa loob. Nag-ningning agad yung mata ko nung nakita ko yung disco lights.

"Should we dance?" King asked offering his hand. Kapalan na ng mukha toh bhe. I took it, and he put it on his shoulder. Para kong kinureyente nung hinawakan nya ko sa bewang. Prom ba toh? Nakakahiya, pero feeling ko kaming dalawa lang yung nag-eexist dito.

"You're literally dancing with a stranger right now." He said flashing his beautiful smile. Damn, I'm in trouble.
