Zip's POV

Im just chilling at home. Mom is in the kitchen while Dad went to the school for something. I'm bored so I turn on the TV and flick through channels until I find one that catches my eye. Then, the news came on. I was a bit interested to see what was on so I stay on that channel.

"TODYA'S NEWS:" It read. "SCHOOL REPORTS THE MYSTERIOUS MURDER OF 4 STUDENTS."

Then, the pictures of Claire, Lizzy, Bubble and Ruby showed on screen.

WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK-

I stare at the screen with anger. The news reporter started talking about how the founders of the corpse's found the bodies and explained it. I didn't like this...

"Oh no... that sounds bad, even for me..."

Mom said. She was standing behind the couch. She looked worried. I look up at her, hiding my anger perfectly.

"Hey! It's okay, mom! I'll be fine! Don't worry! I'm sure you'll be okay too!" I say to her, trying to comfort her. She looks down at me with a smile.

"Thank you Zip. That means very much." She ruffled my hair a bit and walked back to the kitchen as I turn the TV off.

||TIMESKIP||

Miss Sasha's POV

I keep thinking about what Zip told me yesterday. I'll be fine! Don't worry! I'm sure you'll be okay too! I can remember her words very clearly. But, this year hasn't been great for others. I look around at my co-workers.

Circle looked stressed, Thavel looked anxious, Bloomie was hugging Thavel for comfort, Emily is taking a break, Grace is a bit stressed and Demi is frightened. I feel the same, but don't show it. I have seen changes in students behaviour as well, especially Engel with Claire's death. I sigh small in look down at the table I was sitting at.

"All right, listen up." Grace said to all of us. We all looked at her, stress and anxiety coating our faces. She sighed and spoke up again.

"We are going to have a plan. One or two of us will monitor the halls each school day and observe any suspicious activity and behaviour coming from the students. All of them. Demi, Sasha,"

She turned to me and Demi.

"We know Zip is your daughter, but we can't trust anyone." (If yall are wondering, no, they will never suspect a kindergartener of murder.)

Me and Demi look at each other then at Grace, nodding. She looked a bit relieved.

"Demi, Circle, you are on hall duty tomorrow. Don't forget."

Demi and Circle nod. Then the bell for the end of break rang.
