Athletic Championships

Your a professional athlete and I is coming up to the athletics championships .You have been training your whole life for this and were so nervous it was coming up so soon . What made you even more nervous was that everyone was bringing their girlfriends and boyfriends to watch. You hadn't intended on asking your boyfriend Niall because you knew that he would just add the pressure so you didn't mention it to him .

It was two days before the championships and you decided to go running and fit in as much training as you could before .
You had been out for about two hours and when you arrived home Niall had a salad made for your dinner as he knew you had to eat health to keep fit.
You came to the kitchen to see Niall just finishing off with the dinner when he saw you he came over to give you a hug "How's my little athle....... Oh god what's that smell" Niall said scrunching up his nose , "well I have been running for the past two hours" you say laughing and making your way up to the shower .

You came down 15 minutes later after you shower and sat down to have dinner with Niall . At first Niall didn't say anything and kept quiet untill he broke the silence by saying "How come you didn't ask me to come watch you in the championships" , you just gulped and looking down at your dinner lost for words , you couldn't think of any way out of this so just told him the truth and replied saying " I was just nervous " .
"Nervous of what " Niall said half chuckling , "just making a mistake" you replied slightly embarrassed . Niall just took your and and said quietly "you will be fine" .

*Day of championships*

*BUZZ* *BUZZ* *BUZZ*
You rolled over in the bed switching off the alarm clock which read 06:00am . The big day had finally arrived! You sat up on the bed rubbing your eyes , you looked over at Niall to see he was still asleep so you just got up and headed to to shower . After you washed yourself you came out in your towel and looked in the wardrobe for some running gear . You put in your NikePro shorts with matching top and put on your Nike free shoes. Once you were dressed you headed over to the mirror putting on some deodorant and sun screen when you heard Niall shuffling around behind you . You turned around to see him walking towards you "morning princess" is all he said before leaning in to give you a kiss but you put your hand infront of his mouth and replied "Yuck morning breath" , Niall chuckled making his way into the bathroom to have a shower .

At 06:45am you and Niall left the house and headed to the race track which wasn't far from your house. When you arrived you headed over to the sign in table to get your number sticker , you were number 694 .
As you headed over to the seating area with Niall you started to stretch and warm up until your number was called to make your way to the starting point . Niall gave you a quick kiss before wishing you good luck and you made your way down to your place . As you waited for everyone to gather to their position you were talking to the girl next you until everyone was called to get into their starting position as the race was about to begin. You looked over to where you and Niall were but Niall wasn't there , you were looking all around but still couldn't find him so you just left it .

You looked ahead extremely nervous and next thing you know the whistle blows and your off , you run as fast as you can , arms and legs moving like a bullet until you reach the half way mark you realise there is no one in front of you so you must me in first place . When you realised this it have you a boost of energy which made you run even faster . Everything was going great until you noticed something at the bottom of your eye , your shoelace was dangling all over the place . You knew you weren't safe running with and untied shoelace so you decided it would be safer if you just took of the shoe , you kicked off your shoe and glanced behind you and noticed everyone extremely close so you just ran and fast as you could trying to pick up speed again . You could feel yourself running out of breath and slowing down until you saw the finish line ahead . Running as fast as you could for the last few meters you saw Niall at the end with his arms open and a huge smile on his face . Hearing the people racing up behind you made you start running faster and faster until you ran through the white ribbon at the finish line and running straight into Nialls arms . He picked you up spinning you around while everyone started clapping . Niall put you down and gave you a long passionate kiss "well done baby" he said pulling away. You just smiled and made your way over to get a drink.

Later on in the day everyone gathered around for the awards . You were sitting next to Niall holding his hand . When it came up to your category the called you for first place and you received a huge trophy which had
1st place 2015 Championships
Ingraved into it . You got some photos and then walked back to Niall , he gave you a big hug and then you both went home. When you arrived home Niall told you to get dressed as he was bringing you out to dinner to celebrate your big win ❤️
