Shin Hyewon's pov:

I woke up to see that the sky outside was already fully dark, I fell asleep on the couch while watching a movie earlier, I guess I got tired from work this morning.

I got up into a sitting position, rubbing my eyes before grabbing my phone from my nightstand.

I turned on my phone to see it was already 2am, I slept for a good few hours, but I'm too awake to go back to sleep now.

I went on social media and saw that none of my friends were online anymore, I guess they went to sleep already, we usually go to sleep early anyways so I guess I could say I expected it.

I went to sit by the window and looked outside, admiring the wonderful view of my city.

Since I didn't want to waste money on extra air conditioning, I opened the window to take in some fresh air.

I looked down from my private building to see a figure, swimming in the swimming pool of our building's lobby.

But it's 3am... isn't it unusual to swim this late?

I rubbed my eyes again to see if I was hallucinating, but I opened my eyes to see the person still swimming.

So there's actually people who swim in the middle of the night? I never knew that.

Does anyone randomly go swimming in the middle of the night alone? Of course not!!

But... it is kind of interesting, it's not like I can see someone swimming in the lobby's pool every night at 3am, right?

I stared for a while and wow, that person seems fast honestly. Would they be an athlete by chance with that speed or is it just their hobby?

But I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually an athlete. With that speed, I'd probably go for competitions.

After a while, I noticed it was a guy I was staring at the whole time once he rose from the water.

Not that I'm a creep, but it's just kind of interesting to me. I don't usually stay awake late at night and this is a new thing for me to see that people really stay awake so late and even leave their own house at such a late hour.

But it must be enjoyable for the guy, he loves it so much that... he even does it after midnight?

But I mean... it's not that weird I guess if sleeping late is his habit... it's just that I have a habit of sleeping early and seeing him swimming at 3am at night seems way too off limits to me.

But swimming at 3am... doesn't it seem charming? Cause like... seems kinda charming to me.

I mean... a swimmer boy? That's cute. But one that swims at 3am too? Even more interesting.

I wonder what he thinks about swimming at night with that amazing breeze... I mean it's kinda perfect.

Quiet with no one around unlike in the morning or afternoon, not melting hot like swimming in the morning or afternoon but it's actually windy?

But personally, I've never done that before, it's just kinda my personal opinion about swimming at night by observation.

It's kind of intriguing, I kind of want to experience that too. But of course, I usually can't stay up like that. It's just that I woke up from my random nap at this time. I wasn't even supposed to fall asleep earlier!! It was by accident!!

I kept staring and staring until I held up my phone again and saw that it's already been 20 minutes.

Did I just stare at a boy swimming at 3am for 20 straight minutes when I don't even know who he is?

Gosh, I sound like a creep. But I swear I lost track of time... it doesn't seem like it's been that long...

But it doesn't mean I didn't just stare at him for 20 minutes straight!!

Sounds like I'm stalking him... gosh I have to stop.

I got back into bed, opening the group chat with me and my best friends in the group and leaving a message before sleeping again.

I turned off my phone and put it back in the same spot I left it before I fell asleep earlier and laid down to sleep.

I wonder if I'll talk to him one day.
