CHAPTER 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄
━━━ 𖡺★☽⋆⋆❥ ✳︎✧ ━━━

GIVING UP is never an option. To be somewhere, you need to fight for it, and that's exactly what Spencer needed to do. I understood that he felt Beverly Hills wasn't where he belonged, but Billy's words inspired me.

Spencer had a way out of Crenshaw to one day become an NFL player. He couldn't let go of an opportunity like that, even if difficult obstacles came his way. So, I made my way quickly to Spencer's room without knocking.

Spencer sat up in his bed when he saw me enter. "What's up? We no longer knock on doors before entering?" he said, making me roll my eyes. "We've got no time. Stand up" I commanded, approaching his closet.

"For what?" he asked as I opened his closet and grabbed his football uniform and other necessities. "You're going to play tonight, like you should," I said.

He sighed

"Harmony...." Spencer doesn't get the chance to finish his sentence because I don't let him. "Coach Baker was right. It's up to you which path you take next. So, you can either give up now or fight for your NFL dreams by playing today." I said and hoped my words got through his mind.

He slowly stood up and gave me a stern look. "Aight, let's go," he responded, causing a smile to appear on my lips. I helped him pack his things. "Wait! We're never gonna make it on time," Spencer suddenly said, stopping with what he was doing now.

"Don't worry, I already fixed that problem," I grinned. Exactly a minute later, the doorbell rang. "Who's that?" he asked with a confused look. "You'll see when you follow me," I answered, still grinning. I made my way out of his room, and he followed. When I opened the door, Olivia was there.

"Hello, I'm here for the rescue," Olivia said jokingly, causing Spencer and me to release small laughs. "Thank you for coming," I said, hugging her. When we let go, she started to say something.

"It's nothing," she replied.

Spencer shook his head. "Yes, it is, Liv. I appreciate you doing this for me, even though we've only known each other for four days. Thank you." Olivia's cheeks turned red, and it was clear his words touched her heart. Spencer shot her a sneaky wink, which I definitely saw.

As much as I loved their moment, we had important things to do now. "Okay, enough, lovebirds. You have a game to play, so let's go," I interrupted. I closed the front door behind us as we all headed to the car.

"How many minutes before the game starts?" Spencer asked as we got in the car. I grabbed my cell phone and checked the time. "Twenty-five minutes. It's okay. We'll make it," I reassured him.
