That was the only thing I could see...........
The whole place was dark......... cold....... tensed up...... I could see nothing....... but darkness and void.......
Anna's pov: *As I walked through a cave, I called out* Big brother?! Kakashi sensei!! Sakura!! Fu!! *I called looking around as I entered deep into the cave* Where are you guys?!! *As I waltzed through the inner most part of the cave, I stopped short in the middle to see some Akatsuki members in there too..... but what I saw most scared me..... i saw.......... Gaara...... lying...... lifeless on the ground...... my eyes widened in shock and fear as my whole body shook........* No..... no.... *I said silently as I began to hibervate.............. my breathing began to increase heavily as the Akatsuki members laughed to scorn* Shut up! Why's..... why's Gaara down there?! What'd you do to him?!!
A voice: We...... oh, we just took what we needed from him, that's all. Here.
Anna's pov: *The person kicked his body forward as it rolled till it was meters away from me. My whole world trembled at the sight as I fell on my knees in front of him in utter shock with my head hung low while crying. Then I heard a moan as I shot my head up.*
Gaara: Anna...... why..... why didn't you save me..... I.... w---- waited for you...... I was..... waiting for you to help me........
Anna's pov: * I shook my head as he said weakly and cupped my mouth while crying. Then I heard a yell by my left side and saw Naruto jumping to the latters* No big brother! Don't!!! *He heard me too late as he was instantly captured by them........ along with Fu who appeared out of nowhere in their clutches* No...... no..... I looked to my right to see big cousin and Sakura lying flat on their stomachs..... while bleeding profusely.... the sight of it all sparked up my inner demon as I yelled in hurt, frustration, rejection..... and I transformed into what i didn't want to.*
Gaara: You..... couldn't.... save me......... you couldn't save us....
Anna's pov: *I heard him say as I roared and charged for the enemies.... only to be pushed backwards by a strong force of wind. The next thing I knew, I was back in my normal body.... As I fell into a dark oblivion.... my left hand reaching out to the light above.... drowing further down below..... I failed.... I failed to protect them.... the next moment, I saw their large figures hovering around and above as they spoke in disappointment..... the last face I saw was Gaara's bloody face being coated around the place* Nooooooooooooo!!!!!
