Chapter 2: A-class jerk

I took a minute to process what had just happened and then shouted,"Matt Brawnes" like I was some kind of 13 year old fangirl and the truth is, I was a fangirl I just wasn't as proud of my obsession with him like other girls.

He took a step back and stared at me blankly,his face expressionless and his expressions faceless.

He then said"Oh so you're not just a vampire,now you're a fortune teller too"

"No I-"

"I'm not interested just get out of my way" he interrupted

"But there's mango in that juice"

"Yh and?"

Really,be for real right now.

"You're seriously allergic to mangoes" I muttered out like the crazed fangirl I was

"I don't know what the fuck this is or how you know all this but it's getting creepy so stop"

"Don't you get it, you're Matt Brawnes,the hottest,most popular basketball or athlete prospect this town has ever had"

"You're a sex symbol for every girl who has ever set eyes on you including my grandma"I clasped my hand over my mouth.

Ok now I need to stop talking.

I took one cookie from the bowl set on the counter and stuffed it in my mouth to shut myself up

Still with food in my mouth, I mumbled
"Why are you here anyway"I asked genuinely curious on why he was at my house at 2am in the morning holding fruit juice he took from my fridge.

Juice we both knew he couldn't drink unless he wanted a reaction.

"I think that's a question better suited for your mom than it is for me"he said walking back to the fridge to change the juice

"FUCK!"he cursed out sharply

"Is there only mango in here" he said, closing the fridge and looking back at me for answers

I held my laughter in since he seemed serious and said, "My mom's kinda a mango enthusiast so our fridge is practically a mango shrine but you can help yourself to some milk and cookies to help you with your hunger pro-"

"I'm not hungry"he replied walking past me to the door as if to say this entire conversation was over

"How do you even know my mom"

"You mean how does your mom know me"he said obviously flaunting the fact that he was Matt Brawnes,the hottest guy in existence

I rolled my eyes and said, "Whatever makes you sleep at night"

"The only thing that makes me sleep at night is a protein shake or a nice bottle of fruit juice and right now you have none"he said trying to change the subject

"You didn't answer my question"

"Do I have to?"

"Yes,yes" I said tapping my chin sassily

"Cos, why?"

"Cos you're,I don't know, standing in my house"I said getting impatient

"And you are?" he asked sounding disinterested in the entire conversation

"Cassie" I replied simply

"Get some rest Cody,long day ahead of you"he said closing the kitchen door behind him
