I sit beside Yona, watching Hak hold out newly cooked food to her. "Princess Yona, aren't you going to eat? If you don't want fish, would you prefer bird instead?"

I place my hand over one of Yona's, offering her my own fish. "You should really eat something Yona, even if it's little! We don't know how long it could be till our next meal.." Hak nods at my words, "Princess (Name) is right, the next mountain pass will be more dangerous, I don't know if I'll be able to find food."

Hak immediately turns his head at the sound of the two princesses' in distress. Upon arrival, (Name) seems to be carefully picking of what is known as 'leeches' from Yona's body. "(N-Name), what are these?" (Name) didn't know either, she was afraid of touching them, but she was afraid of Yona being hurt.

"They're leeches. They live in ponds and lakes, they suck blood." (Name) turns her head at the sound of Hak's voice. Now, she herself wasn't bare due to not wanting to get in the lake at the moment, but Yona was.
"HAK TURN AROUND YOU VILE MALE?!"
"Whoops, anyways, I'll leave Yona's clothes here."

'I suppose I'll have to accompany both princess' from now on. Princess Yona will remain like that won't she? She won't eat, won't walk unless (Name) holds her hand.. almost like a doll. (Name) is spending all of her time everyday making sure Yona and I are okay, completely neglecting her own needs.'

Hak looks down in confusion, only to see the very hairpin gifted to Yona by Soo-Won himself.

"Princess'," Yona and (Name) both turn their heads.

"Let's move quickly. We need to cover a lot of ground before the sun sets."

(Name) nods her head before taking Yona's hand once again.

"Well rest here for tonight." I look down at the ground, noticing a small insect crawling around. "Don't worry, the insects here are harmless. The leeches before we're all thrown back into the pond." I widen my eyes as I begin to gently pat down my person in search of a certain hairpin.. only to come to the realization it was gone. No.. no where was it? I couldn't have just lost it?

I jolt at the sound of Hak's voice again, "what's wrong? Did you.. lose something..?" (Name) looks at me in confusion and concern. I shake my head.

I stand up and begin to walk away until I notice Hak attempt to stop me, who was then stopped by (Name). "Hak, I'll go with her. It's fine. We'll be right back." I suppose it's okay if (Name) comes with me.

I drag (Name) by her hand as I look around for the hairpin. I'm sure if I told her she would understand its importance to me.. she's never once belittled me..

I come to a stop and notice we both freeze at the sound of a wolf howling in the distance, and a certain slither by our feet. I look down in fear to see a dark colored snake, standing tall for intimidation. I could feel the fear strike the both of us.
