McKenna has always been the person to never show her emotions, she has taught herself it only weighs others down. She comes off as cold and heartless, but she lets a lot of stuff get to her. McKenna has severe trust issues stemming from her early childhood, the only person that ever sees McKenna smile anymore is Emily. McKenna has little to no self worth, she often throws herself into situations without any concerns over her own safety. She wouldn't admit it, but she truly feels alone. Due to the fact of trying to push people away, she acts cold to everyone. She is not fond of physical contact as it brings back trauma that she has yet to dealt with.

McKenna is a skilled fighter, she is especially skilled in melee combat. She has done taekwondo and Krav Maga ever since she was a little girl. She has good aim when holding a gun, but she always hesitates to pull the trigger which leads to other problems. When it comes to hunting, she sucks at it as she can't bring herself to killing any animals. She is extremely useful though when gathering berries, mushrooms and herbs as she knows which are edible and which are not.

Personality:
Emily Erika was the kind of person who never failed to make people smile. Others may have viewed her to be naive due to her optimism, but has experienced first hand the cruelty of the world. Although she is seen talking a lot with McKenna, around others she is quiet. She is relatively shy but she wishes she had more friends. She always knows exactly what to say to help make a situation better, in many cases she acts like a parent. She was known to help anyone/anything that needed it even if it meant getting hurt in the process. Her kindness in many cases brought on her suffering, and ultimately her death.

Carson Gord

Personality:
He is a physically and mentally strong person. Although he can be rash, he is seen as more steady and level-headed compared to his traveling companion. He appears to be distant but in reality he keeps a close eye on others. While he doesn't seem to talk to others much, when he does he is honest. He is straightforward and often speaks sarcastically. Carson is known to be able to hold his own as he is agile and can quickly take down walkers. Carson has severe trust issues, which can result in putting others in danger. He is known to mess with people and cross boundaries on purpose, he does that to keep people away from him. He isn't one to care for others' personal space.

Weapons/Skills:
Carson carries a few throwing knives and a Glock with him. There is a silencer on his Glock, he never specifies where he got it and avoids the subject entirely. He is especially skilled in melee combat, his speed often gives him the upper hand. He has a high pain tolerance, mainly due to his military training. His face usually remains emotionless which often intimidates others. He is a skilled negotiator as he doesn't let his emotions control his actions. He is a talented artist yet he never tells anyone. The only time he is able to use his talent is when he makes maps or directions for others to follow.

Elijah Montgomery

Personality:
Elijah is a man of few words, he often acts without warning. While his actions are brash, he is loyal to the people he cares about. His way of showing that he cares results in teasing and cussing, he is terrible at showing vulnerability. He is the exact opposite of Carson as he would rather fight than talk it out, which leads to some disagreements between the two. Elijah may act like he loathes Carson, but truth is Elijah would do anything for Carson. Elijah is the type of person who always knows what to say to get what he wants. He comes off as a stuck up jerk, but he does everything with Carson in mind.

Weapon/Skills:
Elijah is a skilled carpenter and is good at creating makeshift weapons. He tends to rely on knifes more than guns, under the logic that guns attract more freaks. In situations where they need to interrogate others, Elijah is the one sent in. He knows how to get inside people's heads to mess with them. Elijah carries a machete around that he picked up from an old cabin. Because of his carpentry and building skills, he is usually tasked with securing areas they are staying in.

This is all the info for now! As the story goes on I will update this, as chapters advance I will also make additional character info chapters so as the info changes it will be relevant to the chapters coming up. I am doing that so if someone is reading the book for the first time, they won't see every character detail from the start. For the sake of this, I am only putting McKenna, Emily, Carson and Elijah for this info. I figured I don't have to do a whole summary for every single character. Anyways, let the story begin!
