Ch-8

Y/n POV

I sat down at the corner of the balcony, cursing myself for entering that room, my arm was sore from his grip and tears were flowing down my cheeks.... Then somebody walked in and sat next to me...

I immediately wiped my tears and looked at the person sitting next to me. It was Rei... She gave me an expression that explained that she was sorry for Shoto's behavior... She extended her hand showing the first aid kit, took my arm, and applied the ointment on the bruise..... " I am sorry for what Shoto did to you today... I am sure that he didn't mean to say those words..." She paused and looked at me to reply to her apology, " I know that you're hurt and you were not ready for this marriage but destiny brought you both together... I need you to give him some time in this marriage and please don't leave him alone.... He is already hurt and broken by the past and I don't want that to happen again..." I looked at her in confusion "What do you mean by that?" I asked pointing out what she said right now.....

"Y/n, there is something that you need to know that happened a long time ago..." She said as sadness filled her voice and eyes..... "The boy in the family photos is my eldest son, Touya Todoroki... He was the firstborn in this family... Touya was a sweet and caring child, he loved everyone and so did others... Since childhood, he was a brilliant child like my other kids... Then when Shoto was born, he and Touya had an unbreakable bond and they worked together for everything.... They never liked being separated from each other... But when Shoto was 7 years old, Touya was kidnapped or you could say missing... He was nowhere to be found... We looked for him everywhere in the state and country but we couldn't find him... But then we never received any news about Touya... After 2 years of searching the police officer closed the case saying that they expect Touya to be dead since it's been so long... So we had to accept the fact that we lost our Touya forever... But little did I know that along with my eldest son I also lost the happiness of my youngest son.... Ever since the case was closed and Touya never returned, Shoto shut everyone out of his own life scared to lose them again.... He keeps a cold exterior when someone comes to interact with him..."

With that, I hugged tightly letting her cry her heart out.... " Then a year later, I met your mom and she became close to me... She was my healer and my best friend... But then I lost that beautiful soul as well... Then when I visited your mom on that day, she made me promise that I would take care of you as my child.... But then destiny planned to get you married to my son instead of Momo... I am happy to have to ask my daughter to this family but Shoto needs time to realize that he has got a diamond... A very precious one too..." With that she was done bandaging my wound, "Well you should take rest, my child... I will make some soup for you and dinner and send it up..." With that, she left the room...
