Ch-11

Momo POV

"I am fine and the marriage is going fine... I wanted to know what happened on your wedding day when you ran away... " Y/n asked me over the phone. I went quiet for a bit and then spoke up, "I need you to know the truth... The truth which my mom hid from your family and made me a bad person in your life Y/n... I'm sorry for what you went through these past years... I know I haven't been a great person to you or Shoto... I unwantedly hurt everyone in your life..." With that, I started tearing up and crying... "Hey Momo, what's going on??? What do you mean?? Are you trying to tell me that your mom did something that you never wanted to happen?...." She was probably confused over her mind now... She sounded like it too... "Y/n, I can't speak over the call, maybe let's meet up..." It sounded like she was going to say something but I cut the call by then...

As I hung up the phone, my heart raced with the weight of the truth I had kept hidden for so long. The memory of that fateful day came flooding back to me, and I couldn't keep the surge of emotions welling up inside me. I felt a mix of guilt, regret, and an overwhelming desire to finally come clean about everything...

Y/n POV

I was about to say something but Momo hung up the phone... What was she talking about?? Is she trying to make me feel bad or is she telling the truth? I've never seen her like this... I should go, but be cautious... I thought as I headed out to meet Momo... Then I remembered I don't know where I have to go to meet Momo... Suddenly my phone got notified, it was a text from Momo asking me to meet her at 3 pm at the Coldstone cafe... It was 3:21 right now and reaching there would take awhile so I put on some better clothes and headed out to meet her and know the truth...

I walked inside the cafe to see Momo being seated in the corner of the cafe.... I walked towards her and sat infront of her.... There was silence between us due to which we could hear the noice from the cafe.... "Y/n there is something that you need to that happened in the past, that changed your life forever....." Momo spoke up as I looked at her trying to understand what she was saying.... " I want you to know that I never wanted anything like this to happen to anyone and also I am sorry for hurting you but I didn't want to, trust me..... I want you to know that when you and your mom was at the hospital me and my mom came to visit you, my mom always wanted your dad but Mr. Yaoyorozu was a great guy that had a wonderful wife and a beautiful baby girl..... But my mom wanted to take that place.... So when mom got to know about that accident she rushed over to the hospital.... And she got the news that you had survived while you mom was on life support.... Then my mom went to visit Mrs. Yaoyorozu and she expressed how much she hated your mom and desired your dad, and lastly she removed your mom from the life support and killed her...."
