Taelyn's life felt like a constant tug-of-war

Taelyn's life felt like a constant tug-of-war. She had Marcus, the Lab Rats, and her usual bubbly personality, but trouble was brewing—at home, in her relationship, and with Adam and Leo refusing to accept Marcus. Worst of all, she couldn't tell anyone about the fights with her aunt, afraid that speaking up would mean being taken away.

One evening, after another tense argument with Marcus, Taelyn stormed outside, needing air. But she wasn't alone. Her aunt was waiting.

"You think you can just walk away from this?" her aunt snapped.

Taelyn clenched her fists, trying to stay calm. "I don't want to fight you."

"Then stop making things difficult."

The words cut deep, but she refused to break.

Meanwhile, Leo had a bad feeling about Marcus. Something wasn't adding up. Ignoring Chase's warnings, he started digging—messing with something that felt off.

"Leo, don't touch that," Chase warned.

"Relax, I know what I'm doing," Leo said, though he wasn't so sure.

Back at the house, Adam had his own thoughts. "I don't trust Marcus. And I don't trust Taelyn with Marcus."

Bree sighed. "You don't trust anyone."

"Yeah? Well, maybe I have a reason not to."

Taelyn returned home later that night, shaken but silent. She put on her usual smile, acting like everything was fine.

"You okay?" Marcus asked.

She hesitated, then nodded. "Yeah, just tired."

But secrets don't stay hidden forever. Between Leo's meddling, Adam's suspicions, and her own struggles, it was only a matter of time before everything unraveled.
