"Lillie!" Your mom called.

"Yeah?" You replied while doing your makeup to get ready for the cast party.

"Are you almost ready? I have to drop you off and then take Hazel to soccer."

"Almost, can you help me pick an outfit?

Your mom walked into your bedroom, and the two of you started to look for an outfit for you to wear. In the invitation it said to wear something fancy since you were all going out to dinner, so you settled on a black dress with navy blue sparkly tool under it.

"What time does this thing start Lils?" Your Mom asked you.

"It starts at five, and then we're hanging out at Taylors until six before we go to dinner." You said.

Your mom nodded and then walked out of your room so you could get dressed. Once you were dressed, you went back into your bathroom so you could curl your hair.

"Do you mind if Hazel takes you instead? My work called, they need me there soon."

"Sure," You said, "but I'm not meant to give Taylor's address to anyone except you."

"You can give it to your sister." Your mom said while rolling her eyes.

You laughed a little and then went downstairs.

"Hazel, we need to leave now."

"Yeah I know, I can't find my cleats," Hazel said.

"Don't you have five extra pairs or something?" You asked.

"Yeah, but when you're going to the most important soccer tournament you've ever heard of, you don't want to use your extra cleats."

"Ok, but I'm going to be late. So hurry."

"I can tell this is important to you, so I'll take you and then I'll find my cleats later."

"Really? Thanks, let's go." You said as walking out the front door through the garden to get to Hazel's car.

You hopped in and as she started to drive you could feel yourself getting anxious. Hazel noticed too.

"You okay Lils?" Hazel asked while at a stop sign.

"Yeah, it's just," You hesitated, "I'm going to the world's most famous music artist's house for a party and-"

Hazel interrupted, "And you also got cast to play a younger version of her in a show that's going to be huge."

"Yeah, but what if she doesn't like me and my role gets replaced?" You said anxiously.

"Lillie, you're spiraling. Take a deep breath and try to calm down. I love you, and in sure Taylor will too."

You sighed and looked out the window, hoping your sister was right. After about twenty minutes drive, you arrived at Taylor's house. You stepped out of the car and your sister drove away. You took a deep breath and walked up to Taylor's door.

Barley a few seconds after you knocked on the door a kind-looking redhead opened it.

"Hello," She said with a smile, "my name is Tree. I'm Tay's publicist. She's busy with the other guests."

You gave her a slight laugh.

"You're Lillie right?" Tree asked.

You nodded.

"Oh great! Taylor has been so excited to get to do this project with you." When Tree said that your nerves significantly relaxed.

After the two of you chatted for a little Tree invited you in. The house was very nice. You weren't sure where to go, so you went to get a drink. There was a table with many different pitches of drinks in it, so you poured yourself a glass of something that looked like lemonade.

You took a sip, and it was disgusting. You accidentally made a face. You didn't think anyone noticed, but apparently someone did.

This guy with dark hair tapped you on the shoulder and laughed a little.

"Hi, uh, how old are you?" he asked, holding back laughter.

"Fourteen, why?" You replied out of curiosity.

"Ok, that's why," He said, and picked up your drink from you, "This is a margarita, meaning alcohol."

"Oh! I thought it was lemonade," you said, "that explains the nasty bitter taste."

"Yeah," The guy says, "I'm Jack, I produce a lot of songs for Taylor."

"That's really cool," You excitedly say, "I'm Lillie."

You and Jack talked for a little and then you went to get a nonalcoholic drink. You poured yourself some water to be safe, and Taylor approached you.

"Hey, Lillie!" She said excitedly.

"Hello."

"So nice to finally talk with you in a place other than an audition room. We are leaving for dinner soon, how has the party been so far."

"It's been good! Although I accidentally sipped a Margherita, someone named Jack told me it was alcohol."

Taylor laughed, "Jack's cool, and sorry about that. I thought I had someone label the drinks, but I guess not."

"No problem, at least I can tell my mom I'm never drinking alcohol again."

"That's good," Taylor said while laughing.

"Hey Taylor," Tree came over and asked her.

"Yeah?"

"Are you ready to leave for dinner? It's five past six."

"Oh yeah, lost track of time." Taylor gave a playful smile.

"Of course you did." Tree jokingly said while sighing.
