A collective gasp swept through the room as the medical team pulled back the biohazard suit. A horrifying sight met Paruru’s eyes. Marina, her face pale and drawn, was attached to a creature unlike anything she had ever seen. It was a grotesque amalgamation of tentacles and chitin, with piercing, black eyes that seemed to bore into her soul. Its tail, thick and muscular, was wrapped tightly around Marina’s neck.

Paruru felt a wave of nausea wash over her. This was not the Europa they had envisioned. This was a nightmare, a cosmic horror that defied explanation.

“What is it?” she managed to croak out, her voice barely audible.

Paulo, his face a mask of grim determination, stepped forward. “We don’t know,” he replied, his voice filled with a mixture of fear and defiance. “It just attacked Marina out of nowhere. We tried to remove it, but it’s attached to her like a parasite.”

The medical team worked frantically, their movements a blur of white coats and sterile instruments. But the creature seemed impervious to their efforts. It writhed and twisted, its tentacles lashing out at anything that came near.

A cold dread settled in Paruru’s stomach. This was more than just a rescue mission. This was the beginning of something far more sinister. Something that could threaten not just the space station, but the entire planet.

As she stared at the horrific scene, Paruru knew that their lives were about to change forever. The serene tranquility of space had been shattered, replaced by a terrifying unknown. And at the heart of it all was a creature from the depths of Europa, a monster that had come to claim its prey.
