In the morning things were peaceful. Sun shone lightly on the window which was getting frosty and tinted now. A breeze in the air holding cold air blowing leaves in the courtyard. It was a perfect beginning of winter day one could say. Aether woke up, the sun's polite shine didn't bother him like it usually does. He looked around the room and found Kazuha still asleep. He checked the time, it was 5:33, he didn't get much sleep so he decided to rest for 30 more minutes then start his day. Later he woke up around 6:22.

{That's fine..I'll get out of bed now.} He yawned, covering his mouth trying not to make a sound. Once out of bed he kept his PJs on and went to make breakfast. He saw no one up but still wanted to be quiet. A bit later Scaramouche woke up, he was just going to get some waffles or a bowl of cereal then go to his room to watch something. That was until he saw Aether in the kitchen.

"Oh, good morning." He said in a tired voice.

Aether turned around and waved letting him know he didn't have his notepad.

"It's fine, I'm just going to grab something." He said going to the fridge then forgetting what he was going to get.

Aether tapped his shoulder.

"Hm?" He looked at Aether who held a plate with pancakes. "For me?"

Aether nodded.

"Thanks." He smiled softly at the kind gesture.

Aether motioned to two more pancakes that were ready to be eaten.

"I'll take one more." He said grabbing one then some syrup. "Did you want me to get the others?" Aether shook his head. He didn't want to wake anyone up right now.

"Okay." He said before biting into his pancake. {So good...} His eyes sparkled as he took more bites. 

The two sat eating breakfast waiting for someone else to wake up so Aether could make more. After a bit Kazuha woke up, he realized Aether was gone and went to the main room to look.

"Oh, good morning Aether." He yawned and went over to him and Scaramouche.

{Morning? I think..} Kazuha thought.

"Did you teach him sign language?" Scaramouche asked.

Aether nodded his head.

"Could..you teach me too?" He asked looking away with blush on his face.

Aether nodded his head again. It was like he was a teacher. He also was excited he would no longer have to write, well he still had too but not as much! 

And so after breakfast Aether taught the two basic conversational sign language. It started with different hellos, requests for drink, food, etc...and asking for help since he'd figure he would use these the most. It was funny to see them screw up or end up sign something highly inappropriate. After an hour they Kazuha and Scaramouche's fingers cramped up.

"Much as I'd love to learn this further, my fingers are starting to hurt." He said popping his knuckles.

"Agreed." Scaramouche said shaking his hand around to loosen them up again.
