♡Chapter 4||Rainy Day♡

                          Aether woke up and noticed the sun wsn't shining into his eyes like it did the last 2 days. He peeked out his window to see the sky filled with gray clouds. This slightly worried him, he'd hate for a big storm to come now. He got ready for school like usual. Today just felt odd. Was it how quiet it was? The gloomy sky? Or would something happen? Aether couldn't put his finger on it. 

In 2nd period there was slight rain, just a drizzle. In 3rd period winds picked up, the rain had stopped for the meantime. This on and off pattern kept going till lunch. Aether was in the group he'd sat with yesterday. They all talked and laughed, some having separate conversations. Then the sound of the rain got louder as it hit the window. (The side where the doors are and half of the left wall are all windows) The students slowly fell quiet listening to the rain. The rest lunch had a weird atmosphere, no one was too loud. This went on to next period as well. Then everyone's phone went off with a weather alert.

EMERGENCY ALERT: SEVERE

November 1st, 1:27 PM

National Weather Service:

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING in effect for this area until 8:46 PM for DESTRUCTIVE 75 MPH winds. Take shelter in a sturdy building, away from windows. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. 

The students looked to the teacher who dismissed them to their dorms for safety. The students rushed to their dorms bumping into one another. They all wanted to be safe within their own rooms. Some went to the library or other classes to seek shelter. Aether gotten his stuff and rushed as well, Albedo, Kazuha and Xiao were with him. They all had gone outside and towards the dormitory. Once inside they took the elevator which was full with other people. Among those people were Lumine. She had stood with Aether. She desperately wanted to stay with him but knew he'd probably wanted to be alone. She had whispered to Xiao.

'Hey, your his roommate correct?'

Xiao nodded.

'Well make sure he's okay. He really doesn't like storms. Or any loud noises for the matter.' Lumine looked hopefully at Xiao.

'Okay, thank you for the information.' Xiao looked at Aether who seemed pretty distressed.

Once the elevator stopped the people living on the second floor got off and went to their dorms. Kazuha went to his waving bye to the others. Albedo, Xiao, and Aether made it to their dorm. Once inside Aether went to his room.

> I'm going to my room. I'll try to use this time to study. < His handwriting was a bit messy now that his hands were shaking. He went to his room and closed the door. He wanted to make sure he was away from any and all windows. He hid in a closet that was connected to the wall of the living room. (This is a quick layout I made, all the rooms look like this. [Their bedrooms] I'll let you guys picture the room yourselves.)
