i have a big game today against our school rival Salesian. I literally can not stand that school or the people at it except this one girl that plays soccer. We're mutuals on insta and we like each other's stories. I invite her to the game hopefully she'll go. This is the TCAL GAME. We literally haven't beat them in 20 years and this year is when our team is actually really good it beat them. Our coach TJ texted our basketball group chat about the players we need to watch. I got Maddie number one she's really fast and the pg. makes sense why tj choose me to guard her im also a pg.
It's now the morning time I wear my team jumpsuit which is just a nike blue sweater and Nike blue sweats with my elite backpack our school is sponsored by Nike. The whole team has to wear the same thing on game days. I pack my bag "this game deserves my grinchessss"

I grab my hydro and my beats and walk out the door. I get to school and I see my baby mooo she's my big were in the same grade (11). "Boo" I say to scare her "RED THATS NOT FUNNY ITS TO EARLY FOR THIS" mo said "hey girl ready for this game" I say "yesss girl i have a good feeling about this oneee"

As we walk to the lunch room we run into our other teammate milan she's my shooting guard. "HEYYY GUYSSSSSS"

"Oh then I got this in the bag idk about yall" millygoosee says "alright let's go get some breakfast." We got our food and sat down at one of the high tables.

It's now 5th period the group chat is texting on where to met after this period since we get excused from 6th to start warming up for the game "let's just meet outside the small gym" i text and we do. JV gets there and we both warm up together. I go to my little freshy Naomi (ny for short) "you ready for today's game "LOW KEY YEAH" she says "THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUTTT." it's time for jvs game to start I sit at the score table working shot clock. I do it cus I get locked in. "Good evening red" the ref said. "Hey ref."
It's now half time and I don't see Chloe.

"Girl idk" I say going to the small gym to get warmed up again and get some shots up while listening to my music on my beats. after half time I get one of the mangers to do the shot clock. So I could sit and just watch. That's literally what me mill and mo do we sit on the bleachers while the rest of the team is getting shots up in the small gym the game ends ny a good game 15 points and 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Now it's time for our team to run out to run drills and get more shots up. We get into layups lines I watch the door to see if she coming I see my mom and Maddox sit down on the bleachers I go up to them and say hi. "Momm I'm really nervous about this game" it's gonna be okay baby" she's says as she gives me a hug. After the hug i see Chloe my heart skipped a beat she's sitting with some of her west view friends. "oh hey Maddox" "you finally noticed my presence" I start laughing "my bad dawg alright I gotta get back"
As I'm walking back I look over there we make eye contact and we both smile at each other. Milan notice that she's there and tells mo. They both come up to me "OHHHH MS D1 IS HEREEE OOOO REDDDDD GO GET YO GIRL" they say literally so loud she literally sitting in the 5 row. "GUYSS SHUT UP I gotta look like a nonchalant dread head" I said while doing the Debby Ryan pose they both started dying laughing. "girl you wish LMFAO" mo said. " alright guys lock in" mia said. She's the senior of the group which basically makes her the captain and is also my other starting shooting guard. "okay mom" i say "yeah mom" said maya. My small forward. "ENERGY ON ME ENERGY ON 3" mia says "ENERGY" we all say we go to the bench while our coaches are talking to each other with the refs.
