"NUMBER 5 RED OF HEARTSSSS" I go high five everyone and go on the court. I look at the bleachers Chloe smiling and putting up numbers 5 on her hands. 'Oh my gosh' i thought to myself "NUMBER 10 MILAN GOMEZZZZ NUMBER 3 MOINNQE ANDERSON NUMBER 12 SENIOR GUARD MIA HERNANDEZZ NUMBER 10 AMAYA PHILLPS" everyone cheers "LETS GOOO 5!!!" "OH YEAH MILLY" "MOOO" "MY SENIORRR" "MAYAAA" we started tip off we get the ball. Set up a play I go to the my spot that just so happens to be in front of Chloe I get the ball and I shot "BOOOOMMMMMM" I go down the court with my arm up and 3 on my hand.
It's half time we're losing by 10 I'm very frustrated cus our plays aren't going good. Maddie is just too damn fast for me. I'm literally embarrassing myself in front of Chloe. We go back out. Locked in they getting getting shots up while we wait for the ten minutes to end. I'm working on my ball handling. Very locked in looking down as I'm going forward. I. Bump. Into. Chloe. "Hey you might wanna watch out ms 5" "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" "your alright red hey your like really good i didn't think you was this good." "Oh um thanks apparently some scout are here gotta give good impression it's not going too good tho" the clock rang. "I GOTTA GO ILL SEE YOU AFTER THE GAME RIGHT??" "yes red GO GET EM 5" she says as she giggles and goes back to her friends which i hear "oooo Chloe gettin her girlll" I just smile to myself. The game starts again im on fire making every shot. My whole team is fired up making all our shot get rebound and steals. We catch up to west view the game was neck to neck. The crowd is loud and hype. 15 seconds left in the the 4th quarter and it's 83-83 and we have the ball
i start running as fast as I can with the ball tryna to pass Maddie. I couldn't so I slow everything down at the 3 pointer line. It's now 10 seconds. I pass it to mo she fakes the pass to milan which tricks Maddie into going towards milan which leaves me wide open for the shot. The clock is now 5 seconds. Mo passes it back to me. My stance is perfect. The scouts are right behind me I get the ball. It's now 3 seconds. I put my foot forward and release. It's now 2 seconds the whole crowd is quiet. All I hear is "GET IT NUMBER 5" Chloe. Then you hear a swoosh. A buzzer beater.
THE CROWD GO WILD. I RUN TO MO WE BOTH JUMP UP AT THE SAME TIME A BUMP EACH OTHER I FELX " YEAHHHHHH" start running down the court. West view team falls on the ground cry cus they just lost tcal. I look at them and smile "LETS GOOO" I say to the crowd "YEAHHHHHH" then we all ran to tj " TJ TJ TJ TJ" some of us never seen a smile on that man's face. He was smiling his ass off. Get in line to say good game. I go in the back of the line and so does Maddie "good game good game good game" then we both get to each other and hug each other "good game playa I'm so proud of my freshman" Maddie said at this point I'm crying. "You should've stayed Maddie we could've won this togetherrr" we both are balling. We had to keep moving cus the coaches we behind us. Then we get our shirts and hats and our banner we all take a picture as a team all of us has and 1 on our hands.
I see Chloe I run to her. "You did it 5" she pulls me into a hug wanna do something after this?? I say "aren't you gonna celebrate with ur team??" "I'll celebrate tomorrow" "okay where do you wanna go" "let's get something to eat I'm so starving we could take my car let me get changed real quick" I quickly washed up at this point almost every was gone. I meet her in the lobby "ready rose" "yesss Chlo"
Everything ended being closed because it was Thursday night and it was like 9:30 so we found a subway. "Im sorry bluey everything is closed this the only thing that is open" "I LOVE SUBWAY" " REALLY ME TOO" we had our first date at subway.
Third person pov: "so that's how we basically got together" Chloe said to red and Chloes 2 kids. The oldest analiya the one that plays soccer like her momma said "you guys really had the first date at a SUBWAY THATS LAME." "yeah i thought it was gonna be more romantic or something" Leilani said with a giggle. Lei plays basketball like her mom as you can imagine.
