Small Obstacles

Diane is nearing the end of her third trimester of pregnancy and is excited to see her puppies and hold them with lots of love. Unfortunately she has to put up with the possible gossip of people who believe in fake news or that people want to know the father of her puppies, this because she uploaded a statement during her first months of pregnancy where she announced that she would be working from home and that a substitute would be in charge of the events and happenings that as governor she should have done being able to be a mother, which people began to suspect that the statement was a sham or that they want to investigate what health condition she had.

Curiosly this is not striking to followers of the governor from other countries, mostly fans from Latin America where she is recognized by different presidents of El Salvador, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, and others. The point here is that the society of her city is a little bit gossipy and they are fascinated by this kind of news about showbiz or politics.

One afternoon, she checks her laptop performing a signature review where she pasted her electronic signature to run for the 2nd time in the governmental elections which makes him happy. But she pauses, closes her eyes and begins to imagine what legacy she would leave to her hometown for someone who would take her candidacy for the good of society. Until She sees in her imagination her beloved husband with their beautiful children coming to embrace her and tell her how much they loved her just as real tears of happiness come to her eyes, stretching her arms out into nothingness until her husband walks in and sees the scene. He embraces her with a kiss making her open her eyes.

"What's wrong, my love?"

"I'm really looking forward to seeing them. I'm afraid I won't see them if I'm not in this world" she said leaving him speechless and he keeps hugging her.

"It's never too late for you to see them. They are on their way, I am also very happy to have this family that will be the most beautiful family in the world".

"But what if I wasn't able to feed them when I get stressed so easily?"

"Don't say that, darling. Remember the last time you stressed out because you were desperate for your cabinet to come up with a quick response to your proposals? I hugged you, you were so sad that things didn't come out as quickly as you wanted them to.... I love you with all my heart, I am never going to leave you alone".

"I'm sorry"

"You don't have to say sorry to me. It's ok"

"I know but I have another fear right now"

"What is it?"

"That society rejects our puppies just because I married someone who was stealing for happiness and I don't deserve this"

"Please don't say that, you're going to get very sick if you keep going. Don't worry, everything will be all right, because you are brave, you are strong as steel. Don't let anyone humiliate you for being who you are"

"It would be possible?"

"Yes, my love. You'll be the best mother in the world like other moms, maybe like your mom"
