Over the weekend Calob checked in on me, making sure I was ok. Amelia sometimes came but very rarely.
I felt happy that Calob cared so much. But he seemed so stressed. It felt like he took this whole thing a bit to seriously.
When I asked him about it he kept shrugging off every question. I shouldn't be upset but it felt like he was hiding something from me.
Once I came back to school on Monday, I didn't see Noah in any of my classes. I assumed he either skipped or was really just sick.
But after a couple of days of him not showing up, I got suspicious and started asking his friends if they knew where he was.
They either ignored me or just didn't know. I don't know why but I felt almost a bit worried..
NO! I couldn't be worried! I was glad he was out of my life! Right..?
Today Calob had something really important so he couldn't walk me home. It happens sometimes so I wasn't to concerned and walked by myself.
It felt a bit more lonely this time so I decided to take a short cut through the ally.
It looked awful, almost like if you were walking through a swers. Dark damp and really scary.
A shiver went up my spine when I took a step forward, I needed to get out of my head it's just a normal ally way I shouldn't be like this.
I keep walking every step making my shoes a bit damper.
"Click, click, click". I could hear almost footsteps behind me, I didn't want to look. I was frozen in place while I slowly turn around to see the sorce of that noice.
When I turned around I saw a figure of a man but couldn't tell who it was, I couldn't even make out any of his features it was so dark.
But I had a bad feeling a really bad feeling. I kept walking my pace quickening by the second. While constantly looking back to see the man.
Suddenly I triped I landed in the puddles of who knows what. I hit both my knees hard the pain Serculating through me while I cry out in agony.
I had almost forgot about the man when I tried to check my knees I felt a hand on my face covering my mouth. His other hand soon joined as he grabs my shirt and lifts me so his mouth was right by my ear.
" you pretty little scared one, you should know not to run away~" he says, as I struggle in his arms.
Before I knew it tears start streaming from my face desperately trying to find something to get me out of this mess.
"Click" the sound of a gun. I froze not daring to make a move if that sound was what I thought it was.
"Don't worry princess~" the mystery man says before continuing. "I don't want to hurt you I just want some information~" he says
I could feel the cold hard metal gun on my neck as he presses hard against my skin making me shriek.
What info do I have that could possibly be useful to this man?
Hot tears flow from my eyes burning my bright red face. I gasp for air as the man still has his hand over my mouth. I desperately grab as his grip on my mouth needing the air.
He reluctantly loosens his grip as he holds me tighter by my waist.
"What do you know about Noah Derkins? " he asks stern and serious
Noah?! What could Noah have to do with any of this?! Is this why he's been gone for so long?!
Questions circulate my brain as the mystery man gets more impatient waiting for my reply.
He presses me "answer quick princess" he says reminding me of the gun.
"I don't know who your talking about! " I yell from fear.
"Yes you do! ANSWER NOW! " I hear his voice go louder making me shake not being able to make words come out.
"He goes to my s-school but t-thats it.." I say trying not to let the tears flow any longer.
"LIER! " he yells making me shake more tears forming again
Next thing I know I feel force from behind making both me and the man fall to the ground.
I get drenched in the water on the ground with the man on top of me. I cry out in fear and agony.
I feel cold hands grab me bringing me to my feet before I collapse unable to hold myself.
I feel as if I was going to black out right there before the hands catch me grabing my legs and holding me and my back.
I hear a gun shot before blacking out unable to take much more of this.
