Min Yoongi strutted into the hospital's staff room, his usual air of authority surrounding him. He was about to start his day when he noticed a mess of belongings on the floor, and a young woman rummaging through one of the lockers with an energy that seemed to counter his own stoic demeanor.

Yoongi couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the sight before him. She didn't seem to notice his presence or care that her things were strewn about. He cleared his throat, trying to get her attention.

"Excuse me," he said sharply, his voice betraying his annoyance.

The young woman looked up, startled by the sound of Yoongi's voice. She flashed him a sheepish smile, her cheeks tinged with a light blush.

"Oh, sorry," she said, quickly gathering her things from the floor. "I didn't see you there."

Yoongi's stern expression softened slightly at her apology, but he couldn't help but be annoyed by her disorganized demeanor. "You're new here, aren't you?" he asked, crossing his arms across his chest.

"Yeah, I just started today," she replied, her voice filled with a hint of excitement. "I'm Shaneil, by the way. Nice to meet you!"

Yoongi studied her for a moment. She seemed young, probably fresh out of medical school. Her cheerful smile and animated demeanor were like a stark contrast to his own solemn expression.

"Min Yoongi," he introduced himself, not bothering with any false pleasantries.

"Oh, you're the head doctor here, right?" Shaneil asked, her eyes widening slightly with recognition. "I've heard a lot about you. Everyone says you're the best doctor in the hospital."

Yoongi was taken aback by her comment. He was used to the praise, but it seemed different coming from her. He quickly regained his composure and nodded curtly.

"I suppose I am," he replied, trying to keep his tone indifferent.

Shaneil finished gathering her things and closed her locker. She turned back to Yoongi, her smile never wavering.

"Well, I guess I better get going," she said, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "I don't want to be late on my first day."

Yoongi watched as she turned to leave. There was something about her that he couldn't quite put his finger on. Maybe it was her carefree attitude, or her unabashed cheerfulness. Or maybe it was the way she didn't seem intimidated by him at all.

"Wait," he called out, his voice betraying his curiosity.

Shaneil stopped in her tracks and turned back to him, her head tilting slightly.

"Yes?" she asked, a playful lilt in her voice.

"What specialization are you in?" Yoongi asked bluntly, steeling himself against the effect her smile seemed to have on him.

"Oh, I'm a general surgeon," she replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'm really excited to get started and learn as much as I can."

Yoongi raised an eyebrow. General surgery was a demanding field that required precision, a sharp mind, and a good amount of discipline. It seemed like an odd choice for someone as disorganized and boisterous as her.

"You don't seem like the surgical type," he said bluntly, his eyes studying her intently.

Shaneil let out a laugh, her voice light and musical. "I get that a lot," she said, her eyes dancing with humor. "But I assure you, I'm more than capable. I graduated top of my class, you know."

Shaneil claim about being at the top of her class was interrupted by Yoongi's statement. "Actually," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of pride, "our other junior doctor, Taehyun, was the top of his class. He graduated valedictorian."
