"I can't lose her again, Lila!" Five yelled out, holding Y/N's hand. Refusing to let her go, refusing to let her go on the train.

"Five..."

"Five, Listen to what she wants! you have to let her on the train. If you want her to live. She'll lose her memories either way, it's best if we do this so they don't have to experience that." Lila concluded, as the speaker of the subway started talking backwards again on the PA. the train was almost here.

"NO!" Five cried out, his eyes wide as dinner plates. He just got her back, she couldn't lose her, not again.

"Five, Listen to me." Five turned to look at her, holding her face in his hands. His thumb caressing her cheek, she felt the promise ring poking her cheek each time.

"I'm from another universe and you're just a fictional boy. That's something no amount of marigold is ever going to change."

"But... I love you.

"If you really love me..." Y/N paused, feeling her breath hitch in her throat. The waterworks threatening to come out of the corner of her eyes. "You'll let me go."

The train had then arrived, Lila guided her family and children onto the subway. She looks back at Y/N and Five, Hoping Y/n would make the right decision.

"No... I'm not letting you on that God awful train-" Before he could continue, Lila stepped out of the train and grabbed Y/N's hand. She didn't fight back as Lila gently dragged her inside and pulled her in.

"What the- LILA!" Five screamed out, trying to run inside but at the last second, Lila got out of the train as the doors closed behind her, she turned back and made eye contact with Y/n.

Only they could understand the words of each other's eyes.

I'm sorry for everything.

I hate you.

The Train then started moving, with Lila's family screaming out for Lila while Five screamed out Y/N's name desperately, keeping eye contact with her as he ran with Lila who was running at the same pace of the train.

Y/N placed her palm on the window of the door, Five immediately places his hand on hers.

"I love you, even across millions of different universes." Y/N mouthed, giving him a sad smile. Five shook his head multiple times, not wanting to let go. Wanting to blink inside and just hold her tight in his arms.

"Find me in another universe, Five!"

Y/N yelled out, her sad smile forming into a small grin as she watches both Five and Lila stop chasing after the train, they both watched as the train slowly started to dissapear.

He should've never went to this goddamn subway.

A sound of a door unlocking was heard on the other side.

"Meow!" A black cat with emerald green eyes, meowed out. Jumping from the dining table and running to the front door that was being opened by non other than Y/N.

"Hi, Baby!" Y/N cooed, looking down at the small black cat on the floor. She closes the door behind her and walks over to drop her bag on the sofa.

She sat back on the sofa while letting out a sigh in relief. Her black cat crawled over to her, jumps onto her lap and lays down. Y/N lets out a giggle, running her fingers through his fur.

The day before, she had woken up to the sound of her window getting scratched. There she had found a little kitten, scratching her window with his tiny claws

He looked like he desperately needed a shelter so she took him in. She found out he was a boy almost immediately and was enhanced by his green emerald like eyes.

They remind her so much of Aidan Gallagher for some reason.

"What did you do all day, Five? Hm?" She cooed, running her fingers through his fur as he purred on her lap, rolling on his side.

She purses her lips before leaning back a bit into the sofa, scratching Cat Five's belly.

Her eyes wandered all over her apartment before landing her eyes on the flower pot on her dining table which already had 8 marigold flowers growing out of it.

She was never a fan of gardening however, she had found some flower seeds in her drawer last night and planted them in some flower pot she randomly found in her apartment.

She was surprised to see that's already growing already.

"Huh... Imagine if these marigold flowers represent them." Y/N felt her lips curl into a smile before glancing at the photo frame on the coffee table infront of her.
