Kaaya fell asleep without any care about the next day whistle Vihaan lied on her bed and stared at the ceiling wondering what would happen next.

The following day Kaaya found out that Vihaan is supposed to be a transfer student who is assumed to come today. He had already altered the memories of the whole class or even the whole school so they'd believe he was their classmate- the transfer student.

They all believe Vihaan was a parentless kid being supported by his elder brother who lives in a faraway country. She realized he had specifically chosen her class because Gaavy and Hruthi were there, which made his goal of spying on him easier.

"So, they are reason why you chose this class?" She questions him with a judging face. He shrugged. "I'm just curious. We had the proposal that day, so they must nervous right now about what the other must be thinking."

Speak of the devil. Kaaya sees Gaavy leaning on the door of her classroom, busily waiting for someone while his eyes were wandering through out the hallway. He had been absent for a couple of days now. She looked at Vihaan and took a quick glance at Gaavy before fixing her eyes to the ground and started walking with Vihaan following behind her.

As it was time for their classes many students were rushing to their classes. "Kaaya!" Just as she reached the classroom, Gaavy called out her name making her look up, she put up a smile upon making eye contact with him. "I was waiting for you that day. You okay? Nithi told me you were not feeling well. Did you get your notes?"

"Hi. Yes, I'm okay and yeah I got my notes." Kaaya answered it all in one go with fake enthusiasm. He smiled back and was about to ask her something but suddenly noticed the presence of someone behind Kaaya. "Oh, you are new student aren't you? The whole class is talking about you! What's your name?" Gaavy asked while giving space for Kaaya to go inside but instead Kaaya didn't have any plan to go into the classroom without Vihaan, who knew what he might spit. Ever since she has met him, he's been talking nonsense.

"Heyy! I'm Shri Vihaan and you?" Vihaan said making Kaaya scoff. He could see her intently looking at him from the corner of his eyes. "It's Gaavy. Do you guys know each other?" Gaavy asked curiously as he saw them both walking together in the hallways while bickering to each other.

"Yes, our fathers are friends-" While Kaya was making up an excuse, Vihaan and Gaavy both saw Hruthi approaching from the other direction and Vihaan suddenly grabbed Kaaya by her shoulder. Bringing her into the classroom, "We'll talk to you later," he said to Gaavy who was busy looking at the girl who was nearing them. Vihaan looked down at the confused Kaaya and saw her heaving a sigh. Seems like she didn't have a clue about it.

Gaavy meeting Hruthi on the doorstep was something that must happen to get the future that Vihaan knows; he didn't tell Kaaya, afraid that this may never happen. They went to their seats. Kaaya took a seat next to the boy's row, near Vihaan. Since he was new, she wanted to help him out.

Vihaan exited the classroom after placing the bag on his table. As soon as he couldn't see Gaavy at the door, he casted an invisibility spell on himself, eager to see what was going on outside. "Um, you see, I like you too!" Hruthi blushed, sneaking a look at Gaavy. Gaavy couldn't restrain himself as he heard the words he'd been waiting to hear. "But I'd like to keep our relationship private; I don't want others to know about it," she replied, looking down.

Hruthi was also one the most beautiful girl in their classroom, surely many would have had crushes on her or she might have even got proposals.

Hruthi accepting his proposal was all Gaavy needed right now; he didn't care what else happened. The fact that she liked him back made him very happy. He smiled like a kid who has been given a lot of chocolate. As the other class students began to gather in the main hall for prayer, Hruthi entered the classroom, and Gaavy went to the washroom.

Vihaan sat quietly, glancing at Kaaya who was busy laughing with her friends. He felt awful for her since she was clueless of what was going on around her. Soon, the class was full with pupils, and the self-study session began. Since they were in their final year of high school, their grades were critical for admission to a reputable university. Their math teacher took his seat and began handing the test papers. Everyone panicked except Rudra as he was the topper.

The majority of students received below-average grades, with a handful scoring averagely. He began to question the pupils about the reason for the drop in their grades. Because most students complained they couldn't concentrate, the teacher gave advice and lectured throughout the session. When the bell rang, it was time for English hour, a subject that almost everyone enjoyed.

Because it was Friday, they had to go to the language lab to practice. To be honest, because mobile phones were outlawed, it was the only place where students could watch anything with headphones. And obviously, the teacher would revise their notes during such period, assigning various duties to each of them. They had freedom. Kaaya, Kaira, and Neha sat next to each other at their separate PCs. Kaaya began reading Webtoons, while Neha and Kaira watched random MVs on YouTube.

Since they were together without Kaaya, Kaira wanted to talk about something with Neha. "You see, I kinda collected some info about Hruthi. It seems she's been going out with a guy from the music major for the past three years and recently they had a huge fight. Did Gaavy propose to her knowing this? But their relationship was very confidential. Even I couldn't gather that much information nor guess that she would be in a relationship with that guy." Kaira said frowning.

"Even if Hruthi accepted Gaavy's proposal, I don't think Gaavy should get too excited. They could get back together anytime, well considering that they have been together for three years. I don't think this would end well." Neha said sighing. "I just don't want Kaaya to feel bad" Kaira said looking at Kaaya from a distance and so did Neha," Yeah. I want her to think about herself." 'She deserves better' they thought.

Feeling the stares from her friends Kaaya raised her eyebrows playfully asking the reason for their stares. One just shook her head while the other gave a side eye trying to keep it all normal and soon they went back to looking at their PCs. "Dumbass" Kaira and Neha whispered in unison. They chuckled looking at each other. Kaaya just rolled her eyes ,shrugging it off.

The leaders will be announced and will be given their respective badges the following day. The entire school was delighted to know the leaders. Kaaya was never the talkative type. She disliked crowds.

She is ecstatic to have been appointed disciplinary captain. You could consider her a sadist because she consistently prevented someone from enjoying freedom on their own. It's not like even Kaaya would always follow the rules at school. However, she disobeys the regulations that doesn't give anyone else—not even the captains—a headache.

While Avinash and Neha were the head captains, Gaavy and Hruthi were the heads of board casting, Logan and Kaira were the heads of student activities. Kaaya's companion was Sebastian, she was concerned since she haven't talked to him like how she did with the others. Anyway, it's not like she has to work with him. She'll do her job with the girls while he does it with the guys.

Lunchtime arrived shortly after the ceremony. Kaaya went to the playground in search of Vihaan to flex her badge, only to see him standing alone facing the compound. She approached him, "What? Do you want to sneak out?" She asked, smirking, gaining his attention. "Should we?" He asked, smirking back liking the idea she proposed. "Ahah, not on my first day as a disciplinary captain," she commented, pointing to her badge with a smug look on her face.

"Woah! Give it to me! I want to see it close up!" he said with enthusiasm, which actually made Kaaya give her badge to him. Without thinking twice, as soon as Vihaan had her badge in his hand, he threw it out of the compound. "Shitttt!" Vihaan said, "Nooo." Kaaya, who came to know about his true intentions for asking for the badge, couldn't think of anything. She panicked and charged at Vihaan for doing so. "Woah! woah! What do we do now, little lady?" With a sly smile on his face, he asked while gripping her hands tightly. With a lengthy moment of struggle, she let out a sigh.
