Inside the ship was Jaune at the control panel, fast asleep and tired.
You may wonder why he may be alone this time. Was it a mission gone wrong? Him going rogue?
No, he was on the run, not from his enemies, but from his kingdom, family and friends. Why? Well, let's rewind a few months back to where it all began...
Flashback
It was nearly the end of the war, and the One-Five Battalion were engaging with the Black Arms in one of the Arcadian cities, streets littered with the corpses of Black Arms and Arcadian Soldiers. At the forefront of the One-Five was their Leader, Jaune Arc, alongside a few members of his battalion who were engaging the Black Arms, being pushed back into a tunnel.
Despite them being able to push forward against the last remaining stragglers, Jaune felt that this was way too easy. Compared to other engagements, the Black Arms always had some sort trick up their sleeve, which would usually turn the battle in their favor. This felt different, because despite the resistance that they've put up earlier, they're letting the Arcadians win.
However, he decided to put these thoughts aside and focus on the main mission ahead of him: eradicating the Black Arms.
Arcadian Soldier#1: Prince, we've managed to force the Black Arms back into a corner. Orders to advance?
Jaune: Affirmative. Kill the ones who resist arrest.
The Arcadians received the word from the Prince, opening fire on the Black Arms troops when they suddenly received a Directive from the Empress herself.
Juniper: Initiate Directive Zero: Jaundice
Arcadian Soldier#1: Very well, your highness.
The soldiers and the members of the One-Five, who were hesitant on pulling the trigger, suddenly stopped firing on the Black Arms and focused their fire on Jaune, who was able to dodge all the shots and flee.
Jaune: What the hell?!? What's going on?
As he flees, he could see that his battalion was catching up to him, so to slow them down, he picked up a rotary grenade launcher from a fallen Arcadian soldier and aimed at the roof of the tunnel, which caused the roof of the tunnel to collapse. He dropped the rotary grenade launcher and headed towards a nearby spacecraft, which he used and flew away from the scene.
Up in the sky, he can see a huge fleet of Arcadian Cruisers patrolling around the area, while the same message was sent all across the comn channels. This made Jaune wonder what happened that caused this order to arise and why him specifically.

However, beyond the endless void of space stared a man in golden armor, with red eyes looking through a globe that contained the Fall of Arcadia timeline, with the base showing a highlighted red indicator: "Timeline Altered, Must Be Fixed Immediately."
