'Cause all I know is we said, "Hello"
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
Everything has changed

When Oscar dropped me off at the apartment complex, it was already late in the night. We'd spent it playing F1 with his sisters-which later I found out I should probably stick to Tennis. Then, we ended up playing with Baz for too long to notice the clock.
I was ready to call a taxi when he offered me a ride. I didn't accept it at first, since it was too late and he'd have to drive back home, but he wouldn't take a 'no' for an answer-and neither would his mom.
I slept through the entire way home, which didn't seem to bother Oscar, who just kept silently listening to the songs from my playlist.
"We're here," Oscar said, his voice low as if he didn't want to startle me.
I rubbed my eyes, stifling a yawn. "Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep on you."
He smiled, shaking his head. "Don't worry about it. You looked like you needed the rest."
I reached for the door handle, pausing to look back at him. "Thanks for the ride, and for insisting. It was really nice of you."
"Anytime," he replied. "Get some rest. See you."
I nodded, stepping out of the car. I turned to wave at Oscar one last time before heading towards the entrance of my building. I hesitated for a moment, then turned back to him.
"I'm kind of attending a race tomorrow. Will you be there?"
He grinned, leaning slightly out of the window. "I'll be the one in the orange."
Once I got inside the apartment and opened the door, I gasped. Leia, Gabi, Marilou, and Emma were all there, staring at me with wide eyes and expectant expressions.
"How was it?" Emma asked.
I yawned. "Not right now, guys. I'm exhausted."
Marilou pouted, crossing her arms. "We've been waiting the whole night for you!"
Leia, a bit silent, sipped her tea and gave me glances and half-smiles that I couldn't quite read. I noticed her eyes tracking me as I made my way to my room.
The girls followed me as I walked down the hallway. "Come on, Él! Just give us a hint," Marilou pressed, tugging on my sleeve.
I sighed. "Bah, I need to take off my makeup and get into my pajamas first."
Gabi picked up my hairbrush from the counter, twirling it absentmindedly. "So it went well," she said, her voice half teasing, half serious.
I gave them a sleepy smile, splashing water on my face. "It was a nice evening, huh? Nothing out of the usual. I can tell you about it tomorrow but there's nothing interesting anyway."
