I woke up two days later and the room was crystallized from the cold but where I was lying was fine. My whole body was a blueish colour and I was freezing. 3 days down 4 more to go, I thought to myself. I got up shaking and stumbled to the door. I knocked on it but i fell to the ground numb from the below zero temperature.
"What do you want girl?" The guard snapped not even looking at me.
"Please. I'm cold. I need another blanket" I begged and saw my finger tips were covered with frost.
"No" he yelled, I whimpered than sneezed. I went back to the blankets Scott gave me curling up. The day turned into night and I was completly blue. I'm gonna die in here, I have hyperthermia and I'm going to die. I closed my eyes slowly then I heard talking.
"My father wants to see you two. I will guard her" it was Scott's voicr. I heard move meant then the door open. Scott gasped running up me.
"Your just a human and can die in here." He picked me up taking me to another room where he lied me down amough blankets.
"I'll run a warm bath for you" he said going to walk away
"No. Increaseing body tempter too fast can send my body into shock." I said, He nodded looking at me with a helpless look. I curled up he wrapped me up in the blankets and I was slowly warming up. I smiled closing my eyes to rest and enjoy the warmth.
"You stay here" I nodded not questioning him as he left and I slowly began to fall asleep.
I woke up still in the same place. My head started hurting as I looked around the room, Scott's room. I chuckled lightlt curling up in the warm bed more.
"You almost killed her, She is just a human father. Putting her in the stone cell without blankets could have killed her. How do you think her family would have copped with her death? Her mother already lost her mate and she has 5 brothers!" I heard Scott yell outside his room
"Her mother told me to put her in that cell without any blankets." The Alfa's monotone voice said not a hint of concern was heard
"She is human and could have died. You are that Alfa and you have the final say" Scott yelled.
"Why do you care so much for this human?" The Alfa snapped
"Because she is smart and is someone I can talk to without her trying to become the next Luna. She may be only an omega, but she is the omega in all my classes." Scott said sounding proud talking about me
"Are you talking about heart brake Sarah?" The Alfa asked with humor in his voice
"Is that her name? Well yes I am"
"She will just lead you on Scott. Now take her back up the cell." The alga ordered
They kept arguing. Pain rushed though my body, my nails turned to claws as I got off the bed collapsing to the floor unable to walk. I felt my bones brake in different ways It was painfull but I couldn't scream my voice wouldn't work. I managed to lock the door before collapsing again and more bones broke. I felt fur grow on my body before I slowly and painfully shifted. I looked at myself in the full body mirror in Scott's room. I was red, a red wolf. Legend is the red wolf will shift at 15 and they have greater power than an Alfa. Most become a Luna, Or Alfa. But I don't want that I'm gonna stick with my omega statice.
I heard them try and open the door. I smirked and jumped out the window running into the woods and running home to my room. No one was home to see me. I shifted back having a shower and getting dressed in new clean clothes. I walked down stairs but only to be caught by the Alfa beta and second beta.
"Crap" I mumbled.
They took me back in and locked me up in the stone cell. I was nice and warm with just that one blanket now because I shifted. I got up and walked to the door.
"I want to see my mother" I demanded.
"Very well". My mother turned up later that day and walked in. I crossed my arms looking at her.
"I heard your the one who wanted me put in here." I said angry
"Yes. I have my reasons." She replied not caring how made I was
"What hoping I would shift?" she nodded and that enraged me more
"Well I did. And sorry mum, I'm not the red wolf. Shifting before I'm of age almost killed me." I said lying to her
"I'm sorry. I got hopeful and forgot about your safety." She said looking guilty now
"Forgot it. Once I'm out of here I'm leaving." I said turning away from her
"What do you mean?" She asked concerned now
"I'm leaving before I'm a member of the pack." I clarified for her
"You can't go rouge" she yelled
"Watch me. Dad was rouge, he was born rouge. So being a rouge is in my blood" i said and she left would another word.
