The past ten years haven't been eventful for Yo Han. Ever since the tragedy at the church, his life has been completely different.

Everything used to be so much better, he was simply happier. Life was good when he had lots of people around, when he was in law school. Things were certainly amazing when his father finally died, but that unfortunate event was quickly followed by another one.

It hasn't been that long after his father's funeral when the charity event at the church was held, where Yo Han's life was changed forever.

He still wonders why his own father even decided to leave Isaac his whole fortune. It's not like Isaac was related to him in any way. He took Isaac in after his parents died tragically when he was sixteen. And to Yo Han, it was one of the best times of his life. Because right then, he got to live with his friend and spend more time with him. He was ecstatic to have someone in the house, to not live with his father only.

One thing he wasn't happy about was when Isaac found himself a girlfriend. And the second unfortunate event was when that girlfriend of his got pregnant and they got married, started a family.

Kang Ji Sang basically treated Isaac as his own ever since his parents died, so it was natural to him that he chose to buy Isaac a house, so that he could live there with his new family, completely ignoring the fact that Isaac started a family so young, while he just barely started college.

Yo Han wasn't too happy about almost losing his best friend because of him moving out and having a kid, but Isaac assured him that this didn't mean they would stop being friends.

On the contrary.

A few months after little Elijah was born and the couple was fighting a lot about raising her, something changed. Isaac started spending more time at the Kang mansion instead of his own house and some feelings developed between him and Yo Han.

To be completely honest, Yo Han has been in love with his younger friend for many years and to finally have Isaac confessing that he's always thought of Yo Han this way as well, was a real surprise to him.

But most of all, he was the happiest he's ever been. He obviously felt bad about the fact that Isaac was cheating on his wife, but they didn't really care about it. They fell in love hard and fast and their relationship developed pretty quickly, getting more and more serious.

When Kang Ji Sang died, Yo Han finally felt a little better, freer. He always wanted to keep his relationship with Isaac a secret, but with his father out of the picture, he thought about maybe making it a bigger deal.

He talked to Isaac about finally telling his wife the truth and they promised each other they would talk to her as soon as the charity event was over.

But that never happened.

Isaac and his wife died during said event and Yo Han never got the chance to talk to either of them.

Isaac's daughter inherited all of the money that Yo Han's father left him, and since Yo Han was basically the only person Elijah had in her life, he decided to adopt her and took her in, moving her to the Kang mansion.

He sold Isaac's house, not seeing the point of keeping it.

He was doing everything in his power to stop thinking about the man, to forget about him, to move on, to start living his life again.

But it was hard.

It's been ten years and he still couldn't accept the fact that Isaac was dead.

And his life without Isaac was truly very boring.

He became a judge just before his father died and he continued working as one to this day. He went to work every day, spent crazy amounts of hours there, came home, ate dinner prepared by the nanny and occasionally talked to Elijah, then went to sleep.
