Yo Han has been feeling very weird and uncomfortable ever since he met Kim Ga On. They were just co-workers, working together on the first trial for the past week, looking over the papers, consulting each other on stuff.

He didn't dare talk to Kim Ga On about anything other than work. He was still too stunned by his existence to ask him any questions.

But he had so many.

It's been a very intense week of work and he couldn't stop thinking about Kim Ga On during that time. That's why basically every night he came home, he reached for a drink. He actually hasn't done that in a while, so it must have been quite surprising to Elijah, who caught him drinking every single day this past week.

It must have been shocking enough for her to finally stop in her tracks and come talk to him.

"What's wrong?" She asked, as detached as ever.

"Why do you think something is wrong?" Yo Han asked, not even looking at her. He was too busy with work to indulge in another fight.

"You haven't been drinking in a while, but I see you with a drink for the fifth time this week," Elijah pointed out. "Not that I care, but I wouldn't want you to die since you're my guardian. I can't live alone since I'm just a teenager, and I don't want to be tossed around foster homes. So, whatever it is, don't drink yourself to death."

Well, she was as charming as ever.

"You don't have to worry about me dying," he commented.

"I'm not worried," she said sternly.

They were silent for a moment then, but it seemed like Elijah didn't want to leave yet. So, he decided to look at her and he sent her a questioning stare.

"Is it about work? No, it can't be. What is it then?" She asked, clearly not leaving without an answer.

"Just ghosts of my past haunting me," Yo Han said, a bitter smile on his face.

"Is it about your nightmares?" She pressed. "Maybe go see a doctor about that."

"You're awfully nice today," he pointed out. "It's nice to see that you care, after all."

"I don't," Elijah said. "Whatever is happening with you, get it together," she added after a moment, sounding a little angry.

And maybe he shouldn't have done that, but he was annoyed with her behavior, so he decided to show her something.

In all the documents for the case, he had a photo promoting the Live Court Show, a photo of him, Oh Jin Joo and Kim Ga On. He thought it would be best to just show her, without saying anything.

Was it a little irresponsible? Yes. Would it affect Elijah? Probably. Was he a dick to show her his face? Sure.

But did he care about her feelings at the moment? Not a bit.

So he took the photo and tossed it her way.

She picked it up with a frown and as soon as the realization hit her, her eyes widened and she looked up at Yo Han with a shocked face. "What the hell?" She breathed out. "Is that—"

"It's not," he quickly cut her off.

"What is this then? What's with the photo? Who is it? And why is he on a poster with you?" She started with the frantic questions.

"He's an associate judge for the live show we're starting," he explained. "His name is Ga On."

"Ga On?" She frowned. "Where the hell did he come from? Why does he look exactly like dad?"
