I was grounded.I was only allowed go to work and back. Also Summer rook me to the doctors to see if I had been checked in that morning without her knowing and they told her that I hadn't been in the system and they wouldnt allow a minor to come in without a adult.
Summer was becoming worried so from now on I was going to be dropped off and picked up from work each day.
That day Summer dropped me off to work before she left to go home from the docters. It was another easy day at the book store and the free time made me really wonder how I got home.
"Maybe I should call the police?" I said to myself
"Please dont, missy" I small squeaky voice answered back.
I looked suprised, I got up and looked around the corner to see the small little girl that walked in two minutes ago by herself.
"I promise I was going to pay" she said with her hands in the air and the book she was looking at was dropped to the ground.
Awe!!
She was so cute! She looked in the brink of tears.
I told her that she was not in any trouble and explained.
"I didn't do anything wrong?" She asked in a sad voice.
I shaked my head smiling. " No,honey. You're perfectly fine. Just get your book and lets check you out.
I head back to the counter and wait for her to finish.
