Before we get into anything else, I'm going to explain some other types of alterhuman.
Pseudotherians:
Pseudotherians a people who act like a certain animal, creating a Therian-like personality. This causes them to respect Therians more often, a good case of this is CrystalCollector11. Due to his austism, it gives him a moth-like personality. Most Pseudotherians become Therians or Pseudofurries, so info about them is scarce. Some Pseudotherians are known to play videogames.Otherkin:
An otherkin is similar to a therian, but they identify non physically as a mythical creature, such as a dragon.Fictionkin:
Fictionkins are people who identify as a fictional character. Fictionkin often believe that they are/were a fictional character or species either now or in a past life. The multiverse theory is often used to rationalize this, but not always. Sometimes fictionkin is also used as a coping mechanism for neurodivergent people.Otherhearted:
Having a strong identification with or connection to an entity while maintaining an identity separate from it. Is commonly described as a family-like affinity or being 'almost' the entity but not quite.Otherlink:
A more voluntary identity taken up for a specific purpose, generally animal, mythical or fictional in nature. Though the formation of the identity may be unintentional/accidental, it generally requires a conscious effort to maintain.Plantkin/Phytanthrope:
A person who identifies on an integral and subjective level as nonhuman, specifically as a kind of plant.Theriomythic:
A person whose identity falls somewhere between otherkinity and therianthropy, in that it is a creature from mythology, but a wild, instinctual or unadvanced one.Transhumanism:
An ideology centered around transforming humanity with technology. Some people consider themselves alterhuman because of the way this ideology shapes their perception of humanity.Copinglink:
Someone who identifies as a fictional character, mythical creature, or real animal as a coping mechanism.Otherhearted:
Someone who identifies as human but has a strong connection to a specific animal.Choicekin:
Choicekin is a term used for someone who 'chose' to be otherkin.
