Adalyn sat on her bed waiting for Theo to get here. She thought to herself about him and her they've been together for almost 10 months it would be 10 months in a week. She thought about what if she ended this now would it be better? But just the thought of ending things with Theo hurt her she couldn't see herself without him he's what made her want to live to try every day. As she was in deep in thiught it was interrupted by him walking in.
She looked up at him smiling "Hi Theo" she said but Theo didn't say anything he walked up to her and sat down. It was silent for a couple of seconds until he finally spoke up "I'm sorry that I'm still keeping us a secret but I need you to understand I don't want people to say things about us being together I don't want our friends to make those comments about us." Adalyn listened carefully trying to process what she would say " I get that but who cares what people think Theo they don't matter and our friends would be supportive their jokes are all coming from love." she said all they did was scoff "You just don't understand do you," he say sighing "I'm trying to I am but it's been months can you not see I'm hurting by the fact we're still a secret it hurts that I can't hug you or kiss you in public," Adalyn said desperately. All Theo could do was stare at her with tired eyes "I'm sorry you feel like that but I promise just give me a couple more weeks and I'll be ready" he said "No I can't Theo" Adalyn said sighing "Please I mean it please" Theo said desperately.
Adalyn wanted to say no so badly and end all of this but she knew she couldn't do that she loved him what's so bad about Just a couple more weeks she could do that "Ok a couple more weeks" She said. Theo felt relieved hearing her say that "thank you I promise you lyn I promise." he said hugging her "I love you theo" she said "i love you so much more you don't understand". "it'll be our ten months in a week" she said laughing "ten months of being with you i can't believe it" she said shocked "i can't either baby I'm glad you stuck by with me" Theo said. Lyn knew deep down that they wouldn't go public in a couple of weeks but she made herself believe they would she couldn't imagine not having Theo in her life and she would rather hurt herself than lose him.
