Anshika walked towards the couch, expecting to sleep alone on their first night. But Anurag had other plans. He poured water on the couch, making it impossible for her to sleep there.

"Looks like you'll have to sleep with me tonight," he said, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

Anshika hesitated, but Anurag pinned her to the wall, his lips crashing down on hers. He bit her neck, sending shivers down her spine.

Reluctantly, Anshika went to the bed, her heart racing. Anurag grabbed her waist, hugging her close. But Anshika was distant, her mind reeling with thoughts of how her life had changed in an instant.

The next morning, Anshika ignored Anurag, going downstairs to take blessings from her in-laws. Her mother-in-law asked her to cook one dish for the ritual of Pehli Rasoi. Aradhya teased her about the previous night, and Anshika fake-blushed, not wanting to upset her.

In the kitchen, Anshika cooked kheer, her hands shaking. But when she presented it at the dining table, everyone praised her. Aradhya teased Anurag, saying he was lucky to have such a talented wife.

As they ate, Anshika couldn't help but feel like a prisoner in her new life. She wondered what the future held, and if she'd ever find happiness again.

Anurag's pov

I watched as Anshika ignored me, her eyes avoiding mine. It frustrated me, but I knew I had to keep my cool. After all, I had won her hand in marriage, and now it was time to win her heart.

Just as I was thinking of ways to get her attention, my phone rang. It was my father, reminding me of an important meeting in an hour. I quickly finished my breakfast, sitting at the dining table and savoring the kheer Anshika had made.

Aradhya teased me, saying I was so besotted with my new wife that I couldn't even eat properly. I smiled, playing along, but inside, I was seething. Why was Anshika being so cold?

As I left for my meeting, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I had to do something to win her over. I couldn't let her ignore me forever.

In the car,

I thought about my next move. Maybe I could surprise her with her favorite flowers or take her out for a romantic dinner. Whatever it was, I knew I had to try.

Little did I know, Anshika was thinking the same thing - how to get away from me. But I was determined to make her mine, no matter what it took.
