"ARE YOU SURE SWEETIE? — It's been a long time since we ever had the chance to bond. And now you're leaving so soon." Your mother said. Leaving the big city and going back to the suburbs with family and old friends was amazing and therapeutic in such a way. And you loved it but, it was time to go.

Holding your mothers hand in yours, caressing it softly as the sides of your mouth curved up to a smile. "..I know. I'm sorry. But I have a whole life there too as much as I do here. And I can't leave it for too long." Your mother sighed and gave a small nod "I understand." She uttered.

"Now now (y/m/n), you can't keep them here for long. It's going to get dark real quick." The air filled with the smell of freshly baked goods, hand-made by yours truly. "That smells heavenly."

"I know, I made them" Your dad chuckled as he brought the hot pan to the dinner table and started to filled up a jar with the baked goods. "Dad you didn't have to—"

"I Insist!, something to keep you company and remind you of family here on the drive" He smiled widely and hand the jar of goods to you.

After the long exchange of goodbyes. You finally hit the road back to your new life. Once again, a small shop caught your eye. You couldn't go back to the city without a little something right?

The bell right in front of the door which seemed to be new considering the last time you were there, it was ni where to be seen. A familiar figure walked towards you with dimples for miles. "Y/n! hey, you're back. What can I help you with this time?" The boy said.

"Namjoon, so good to see you. I just wanted to stop by and look around for a bit if that's okay?"

"No need to ask, please, be my guest." His arm reached out as he stepped aside allowing you to enter the shop, so many new additions were add in only a short matter of weeks. The flowers looked fresher then ever, there's a few more employees that were busy handling other buyers in the shop.

A certain flower caught your eye, reaching out to it to hold its petals. "Lavender. We just restocked them today" His voice spoke behind you, "they're beautiful" You comment.

He smiled and grabbed one of the Lavenders before speaking, "you know... every flower has a meaning on its own, a language. Subtle ways to tell or express feelings and emotions. For example, Lavender means love at first sight." He Informed and gave the flower to you, allowing you to take a whip of the fresh scent.

"And when multiple flowers are given in example a bouquet. It can construct a sentance beyond words can ever do." You were captivated by his voice, every word glided in your ears like a melody. Before you even knew it, Namjoon had already picked a unique set of flowers in his hands. "It's on me."

"What-t? No, no! it's fine Namjoon! I don't want to be a burden. And those flowers are for sale. You can't give it away." You tried to reason as you refuse the flowers. He only shook his head with the same smile which never seem to disappear.

"You aren't a burden. And besides, I just ordered more not long ago. I won't go bankrupt if I wanted to give a present to a friend." He said. "What I've got for you today mx, are Orchids, Gladiolus, and Daffodils. Thoughts?" You were stunned for christ sake. This beauty of a man is giving you flowers? on the house?

"... Beautiful, Namjoon. Thank you, truly."

"No problem. Say what brings you to this far out of the suburbs? Going back to the city?" He asked as he walked towards the cashier. You followed behind him as he began to wrap the flowers.

"Yes actually. I've just gotten a job and work starts next week. I need to unload a lot of packing in my place, so I needed to leave early." He hummed in response. "In that case, what about I add in some Bells of Ireland? it means 'I wish you luck." His eyes never leaving the project in front of him. Keeping his eyes and hands on the table as more flowers were added to the batch.

"Actually.. " He stopped his tracks and looked up. "May I?" He asked regarding the Lavender which was still in your hands. You gladly give him the Lavender stem which he added into the small bouquet.

"Perfect." He rose up his masterpiece in the air before giving it to you. "Namjoon this is too much. Are you sure?" "Positive. Without a doubt." You still hesitated in reaching in. But, when you did, the biggest smile was painted on your face. It was beautiful and smelled heavenly. "Thank you. So much."

"Anytime, Y/n."
