Him (Sophie POV)

As we walked into the school, I saw a strawberry blond boy, with periwinkle eyes. He looked so familiar. 

"Dex!" I yelled. He was my cousin! He looked around confused. Once he noticed me his eyes lit up. 

I rushed over to him and gave him a hug. "Hey Soph! I missed you sooo much!" "Me too" I replied.

Biana came over and asked me "Do you know him?" "Yup, he's my cousin" I answered. "Oh!" she said.

Apparently, Biana and Dex were best friends. Dex knew all her secrets! Biana already told me one of hers. It was about her crush on a boy called Tam. 

Then the bell rang. Biana showed me the way to class. It was classroom 101. First class of the day was Advanced Algebra.

As I entered the class, I sat by a boy who looked a lot like Biana. "Hello" I said.

He looked at me and shot me a movie star smile. "Are you related to Biana by any chance?" I asked. He looked at me weird. It most likely was because he was popular. Girls probably always swooned over him.

I shuddered at that thought.

"Um.. Yes actually, she's my younger sister." I nodded.

After the first three periods ended, I was walking in the hallway toward my locker, when suddenly I heard a voice. Two actually.

I turned around and saw two girls. One had chocolate brown hair and almost violet-like eyes. The other girl had dark skin, dark brown hair with a blue streak in it, and almost turquoise eyes.

"Look who we have here" the one with the lollipop-like head said.

"Must be the new girl." the one with darker skin said.

The first girl shoved me to the ground as the other laughed.

I landed badly on my left wrist. It hurt so much. I almost blacked out. Almost.

The other girls left as I tried to stand up. I headed towards the healing center. I knew my way around since the school principle, Mr. Forkle, gave me a map and I had photographic memory so I memorized it.

A few minutes later I couldn't recognize the halls I was in anymore. 

"You must be lost" someone called out to me. 

I whirled around to see a blond haired boy with startling ice blue eyes sitting on a bench.

"What made you think that? I may be ditching" I responded. I didn't know why I was arguing with him but there was no going back.

"Well, you can't ditch now since it's lunch time and no one ditches lunch" he reasoned.

"Well, I don't see you at the cafeteria" I snapped back. His smirk faltered for a second but quicky returned.

"You're right" he said. I just rolled my eyes. "Are you okay? It looks like you're in pain." he asked. A layer of worry coating his eyes. I tried my best at smiling. The pain was really stinging. It was probably the adrenaline rush fading.

"Yeah, just two girls pushed me to the ground and I'm trying to find the healing center" I replied. 

"The girls who pushed you were probably Stina and Maruca. They're the bullies of the school. Also you're wayyy off. The center is the other way, I'll help you. By the way, my name's Keefe." h-Keefe said.

My wrist was hurting so bad.

"Thanks. And I'm Sophie Foster" I breathed out. "Okay Foster, follow me".  As I was about to take a step, I blacked out from the pain. Everything went black just as I was about to hit the floor...
