Part 4 ( Strain in relationships)

Next morning Rahul, woke up with a headache and was still sleepy, but everything vanished when he got a call from Jammy bhai asking him to reach the ground asap. Rahul gulped at this. He got ready, and rushed to their ground.
Delhi board members were there. After getting an earful from them, Rahul , now had to face Jammy bhai.

He went to Jammy bhai, but he ignored.

Rahul- please na, bhai... I won't repeat this! I promise!

Rahul- this is the first and last!! I promise!

Jammy bhai left there getting pissed. Rahul tried all possible ways, but Jammy bhai kept ignoring.

After a while Rahul went for wk drills.....but he was not able to concentrate and was getting scolded by the coach. Jammy bhai saw this and took him to the side.

Jammy bhai- stop playing if u can't concentrate.

Suddenly Rahul sat on his knees hugging Jammy bhai around his stomach.

Rahul-please bhai... don't stop talking to me...please...you know...I just have you and bhawna di...if you two also stop talking, then...then...

And he started getting restless...his breathing started to get heavier. Jammy bhai got worried.
So Jammy bhai decided to divert Rahul's mind.

Jammy- ok...I'll forgive you, only if you complete the punishment.

Rahul looked on.

Jammy bhai- 20 laps ..... no 10 laps ....no 5 laps...around the ground! Will you?

Rahul chuckled but nodded yes vigorously and quickly left to complete the task.

That's when Virat came to meet Jammy bhai.

Virat- hey bhai ...hwru doing...?

Jammy bhai- Fine Virat...what's up...why here all off a sudden...?

Virat- nothing ...was free...so thought to come here...

Jammy bhai nodded...

Virat looked around...

Virat- where is he?

Jammy bhai - hmmm...doing his punishment.

Virat chuckled.

Virat- actually...came to ask fr a help.

Jammy bhai - what help?

Virat- it's about Rahul. I mean.. yesterday... he came home drunk...I mean... it's his age...all these happens. He was never in an ideal environment throughout his life.
That's why tendency to get addicted to such things are very high. He will only listen to you...so please.

Jammy bhai- yeah..he has promised me that he won't do it again. But can't you tell this to him openly? I can see u love him and care for him a lot...but please express it...it will help you improve your relation.

Virat sighed.

Virat- what dint improve in these many years ...how is it going to improve now, when it's like in its worst phase.

Jammy bhai- and what got it here to this phase?
It's more of ur fault Virat.

Virat- and how am I at fault?

Jammy bhai- ur the elder one Vi. You have seen what Rahul has gone through... Whole of his childhood, his father avoided him. Siblings kept him at a formal distance... why was that.?

Virat- we dint keep him at distance. It was just that he never came to us.

Jammy bhai- exactly my point Vi, you being the elder one , why dint u make any efforts to get him closer.
