Blair was never one to wake up in peace.

It was always something. When she was a little girl, she didn't even fucking go to sleep because she was up all night pleasing and getting "pleased" by her father. Ever since she left her parents, she's woken up in sweat in tears from the nightmares she has about them.

But last night was different. She slept like a normal baby should. Eleven hours of silence she wasn't aware she was in. And she woke up to the most beautiful face she's ever seen in her life. She swears on her soul.

Choosing not to wake her up out of pure kindness, Blair silently admires Gracie's features that are glowing in the bright sunlight that shines through the window. Her perfect nose, lips, cheeks, forehead, eye lids, freckles, and everything else. Her lips are slightly parted as she snores softly--which Blair will definitely tease her about later on--which allows the teeth gap Blair has always loved, show.

"Am I really that pretty, Bumble Bee?"

Blair flinches at the sudden sound of Gracie's voice, her eyes softening at the same time. "U-um, yes," she answers, boldly reaching out a hand to run softly through her hair.

She feels awkward, but also can't stop. Her hair is just so soft.

Gracie's eyes flutter open, and her lips curve into a smile. "You're way more really pretty, Bumble Bee. Complimenting as a friend."
