Elizabeth! Elizabeth!

    Awakening havoc rises.

    Elizabeth! Elizabeth!

I can't hear anything. Only the voice inside.

    Come back!

I see the light. I see my faith. I see my fate.

    I see my destiny.

The time ticks slowly, and the other orphans fill the halls. I hide behind Miss Jericho, which assures me that it will be okay. I don't believe her. I never believed anyone but my dad. Seven little feet jump up and down. I don't think they're excited to see me.

"Miss Jericho! Miss Jericho! What's so exciting today?! I wanna know! We wanna know!" a little girl exclaims. She was wearing a white dress, as I could see from behind Miss Jericho.

"This is so pathetic! I was having so much fun at Camelot! I even saw my true love!" another little girl shouts, wearing a red top with blue denim pants.

I suddenly lose confidence and start to loosen my grip on Miss Jericho. Why was I even here if they hate me? But, as my father used to always say: c'est toujours la peur de l'inconnu, or translating to 'it's always the fear of the unknown'.

Miss Jericho does a clapping method. It shut down everyone's mouths and made the other seven children stand still.

"Today, we have a new orphan joining us today. She comes from unknow whereabouts, but we must welcome her to the orphanage today. If I see, hear or even listen to nasty things about her, you will be seeing me and be given a consequence. Understand, children?" Miss Jericho explains.

The little girl with the white dress bounces up and down, "We have a new friend! Yippee!"

The girl gives me a little bit of confidence. She sounds so joyous and happy, unlike me who is shy, nervous and; honestly the opposite of her. I peep from Miss Jericho's left side and see almost all of their faces. One had brown hair, one had light blonde hair, one had darker brown hair, one had purple hair, one had ginger hair, one had red hair and one had bright yellow hair with an ahoge flicking out. I return back to my standing position and wait for the grande révélation.

"Say hello to Elizabeth." Miss Jericho introduces.

I stand still, looking at their faces and then to the floor. My hands are behind my lacy, evergreen dress and my silver hair covers my fair white face.

The blonde girl comes up to me, "Hi! I'm Elaine. What's your name? I know we've only met 3.54 seconds ago, but I would love to be best friends! Y'know, ever since Liz came here, no one has ever been here again! Oh I'd love to be your friend!"

I shake hands with Elaine and smile awkwardly at her. She doesn't seem to notice, and she backs away excitedly. She then turns and walks towards another maiden of the orphanage.

"Hi there! I'm Diane. I know Elaine is very chatty and it's very awkward to meet her at first, but just don't anger her. Once she gets angry, there's no escape. I learnt it that hard way."

I shook Diane's hand and felt delighted to meet her. She seemed friendly, but as they say, 'ne jugez jamais un livre à sa couverture.'"

The boy with blue hair seemed fun. Fun in the way as a 'bad boy', but fun. Fun. Fun. I don't know what else to describe him. He looked like a child, nonetheless.

"I'm Ban. I can kill people." he sneers.

I awkwardly smile at Ban, not knowing if his statement is true or false. He does look like someone that could kill.

The girl with purple hair smirks at me. I don't know why, but I feel like she sees the potential in me. And yet again, I don't know what potential I do have, but it's definitely potential. A potential I didn't know I have.

"Hey, Elizabeth. My name's Merlin. I love purple, and that's all I'm gonna say to you," Merlin winked, sneering at me.

Merlin tried her best to be 'mysterious' and 'cool'. But that didn't work on me. It never does. My father usually does that. It doesn't work. It looks weird.

A brown-haired boy walks up to me. "I'm King! Nice to meet you, Elizabeth!"

King's introduction was the most normal out of all of them. That sounds very unusual, but it's true. It always is. King didn't give me his whole life story, and he didn't just give me his name. He was very complimentary.

The boy with ginger hair came up to me and bowed a curtesy. "Hey there, I'm Escanor. Welcome to the orphanage."

I shook his hand. It was very sweaty and heated. His hands turned red, very sweaty and watery. I smiled at Escanor until our handshake was over. I then took a tissure from my pocket and wiped it on my hands.

"Oh, I'm really sorry for the sweaty palms. I exercise a lot, especially to impress Merlin," Escanor says, whispering at the last phrase.

I smile at Escanor, accepting his apology. The only two people I haven't met yet is the girl with red hair and the boy with bright blonde hair. The boy with bright blonde hair walks towards me. With a huge grin, he introduces his name.

"I'm Meliodas. Welcome to the place of your dreams," he winks. I smile back at him, not flustered by his flirts. The others giggle at his techniques, knowing I will never fall for them.

The red hair girl scoffs, "If you even dare to steal him away from me, think again. He's mine and mine only. He is off-limits to everyone especially to you, Elazibeth,"

    "My name's Elizabeth..." I murmured.

"I don't care about who you are. You're a nobody to me. You're not special, you're not pretty, and you're definitely not going to steal my pookie bear from me!" she yells.

    "That's Liz. She's so short-tempered." Elaine whispers.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, BLONDIE?" Liz shouts.

    "I said facts," Elaine smirks.

Diane giggles, "And she did," "Come on Elizabeth, let's go to our rooms!"
