Y/n: Tae, Why are you so much tensed? ( worried)

Tae: Dam_n, Y/niee....My dad.....He refused to hand over the company.

Y/n: You are working so hard, so why would he refused? ( confused)

Tae: He wants me to get married first. ( sighs)

Y/n: Huh!! He arr-arranged someone?

Tae: Y/n, I just can't marry anyone.

Y/n: Then what are you going to do?

Taehyung takes a deep bteath.

Tae: I know someone. I am comfortable with it, and I can solve the problem without losing anything. And she knows me the best, so I don't have to act.

Y/n: W-who?

Tae: You...

Y/n's eyes widen.

Y/n: What are you saying, Tae?? Are you out of Your mind? I am not with any fake marriage thing.

Tae: It's not a fake marriage, Y/n. I just want you to marry me. I can't be with anyone else and act like a married couple. Y/n, please. You are my best friend. You know me well. I have my ambitions. I need your help. If appa find me a girl, I am pretty sure I can't stand her around me for more than 5 min. My life will turn into a living he_ll.

Y/n: I can't deceive your father. And I have my dreams...

Tae: I will never come between your dreams. I promise. You can do whatever you want. Nothing will change between us. I will still be your best friend. Y/n, please, I beg you. I will do anything in return, Y/n. Please agree.

Y/n stares at Taehyung. His distressing face and eyes, which hold hope, make her heart feel heavy. They have both been friends since childhood. Taehyung is the son of one of the wealthiest men in Korea. And Y/n is also a daughter of a businessman. Taehyung and Y/n's father are best friends so Taehyung and Y/n kind of grew up together. And all in her Lifetime, she witnessed Taehyung, his upbringing, and his lifestyle. Taehyung never had a stable relationship. He would have dated a few but could never date anyone more than a week. He always complained that he never felt anything special and he got bo_red. Those girls could never make him feel special, nor did he feel any kind of attrac_tion after the first date. He wouldn't say he was attrac_ted before the first date but more like he felt a bit excited but felt nothing after the first date. So he never had pushed through the relationship nor had any physi_cal contact with those girls. And Y/n knows it all because he always complained about how he never feels anything for anyone and doesn't know why. At some point he stopped about the idea of dating. So, he practically have no experience in love or relationships.

Meanwhile, Y/n never dated anyone because she spent most of her time with Taehyung. And She doesn't know how she starts to feel differently about him. During her teenage years, her heart began to beat around him. She feels weird. She feels butterflies in her stomach. When Taehyung first went on a date, she felt heartbroken. But after a while, she got used to it and kind of knew Taehyung was high maintenance and Taehyung would never feel anything for them. He still is high maintenance. And slowly, Taehyung stopped, and he only stayed around her. And Y/n slowly realized she was hopelessly in love with him but was too scared to confess because she knew Taehyung never thought of her as anything else except his best friend, and things would turn awkward if she confessed. But now she is seeing hope. Maybe marriage is the first step. She can now show her feelings, and Taehyung will slowly accept her as she will be his wife. Things might change. She feels hopeful. Maybe It's the chance. She hesitates, but Taehyung never mentioned acting like a wife or having a fake marriage. So, if the marriage will be real, then she can take the chance and make Taehyung fall in love. A lot of thoughts are clouded her mind.
