CHAPTER 5

He rushed in holding his chest,she wondered what was wrong with him because she had never seen Jeremy looking this weak,"hey Jerry, what's wrong with you,she asked, I don't know,I just started feeling this choking pain in my chest and I think it's related to my soulmate, on hearing this,she started thinking,you know what,just get in the bed,lemme give you some drugs and you gonna be alright and she gave him some sleeping pills, and he fell unconscious,now while he was asleep,she went to the cabinet and took a bottle of her favorite wine,while twirling the cup,she started thinking of what to do.
     Seems like Jeremy and Trisha meeting each other wouldn't work out well for me,he wouldn't want to work for me anymore,I have to make sure they never get to meet each other,I must make sure they suffer for everything that ever happened,he mustn't remember his memory and the moment he does,I'll give him the drug,afterall my planning of all these years can't go to waste,no I must get rid of Trisha,she finally concluded.
     Back at the police station, Sarah had exhausted herself trying to find the hooded guy she had noticed,she had checked everywhere but it was like as if he never existed,if only she knew that Jeremy was a master of stealth,as that could be the only reason to explain his not getting caught, but she wasn't about to give up as her desperation was gnawing at her,after lots of thinking,she finally called Ryan to come with her,"where to boss" he asked, "well let's just say we are going on a little excursion",she replied,"gosh boss, hearing you say that just killed my spirit cause I know you,you never go on exciting excursions,so which disgusting place are we going to now" he said while laughing, "now come on Ryan you ain't a scaredy cat,we just gonna visit the crime scenes,now that's not a big deal,infact it's gonna be fun,now be quick.
    In a secluded part of the station, "Hello ma'am,I overheard the detective saying they were gonna go back to the crime scene" he reported "oh really,then why don't I send them on a wild goose chase" she laughed then hung up.
    "I suddenly feel nostalgic,I wanna go back" said crybaby Ryan, you've gotta be kidding me,we've already gone through the crime scene and we found nothing so what makes you think you can find something,"now Ryan,ever heard of the saying desperation goes a long way, I'm not sure there's a saying like that,he replied, anyways we are here to find clues that we missed before,so search well.
     A few hours later.....
Well,I'll be damned,boss come take a look at this,Ryan called out,when Sarah came she was looking at a silver pendant which looked like it had its other half somewhere else,if we could take this to forensics,they could figure out the DNA of our killer and finally justice would be served,Ryan said gleefully, unaware of the shadow that moved further away from them.
