A Battle Unfinished

I wake up to the smell of burned toast and the sound of people chattering.I open my eyes and get out of bed.I then follow the sound of Pirates chattering,they were gathered up in a table with not much of a breakfast meal.

"Good morning sunshine!" Andie says playfully
"How was your first night?" Fly asks
"Not bad" I say with a chuckle
"Hey kid,catch!" Monster says passing me a toasted bread. "We ain't got much to eat,but go get yourself a spread" he says pointing at the table.

I sit down on a chair by the table and grab a butter spread from the table,the ones you get in fast foods.I start to understand how this place is on a low budget.Hopefully we don't lose the vault.

"Guys,we better perform today again all 'round the city.We need to start earning some more money.The following people will be teamed in 2's,so listen carefully.Martin and Marcos,Legz and Jason,Anala and Missy,Luke and Andie,Hair and Jenny,Fly with Monster,Cable with Smiles and lastly Abby and Moose.All teams should be scattered around the city in different and certain places.The Santiagos will take over the subway along with Fly and Monster in another subway station.Legz and Jason,y'all will be taking over the public library in Bryant Park.Cable and Smiles will take Central Park and the rest will take different areas in Times Square.Once at noon,we should meet up at JambaJuice to gather up all the money earned.Don't.Be.Late" Jacob says.

Everyone then starts to dress up and get ready to start working.I look around for Moose,and find him still sleeping in bed.I walk towards him,and climb up the ladder to the top of his bed.

"Moose,wake up.We need to start working." I tell him quietly.
"Huh?" He says waking up.
"Jacob said that we need to start gathering up some money or something,I don't know.He teamed us both together.But we got to get going though." I explain him

He jumps out of bed and gets dressed.

"Here,take my sweats and shirt.You ain't wearing that again__" he says looking at my clothes and passing me some grey sweatpants and a simple white shirt. "Where are we taking over?" He asks
"Times Square.." I tell him

Every other Pirate has now left to where they were asked to perform,and Moose and I walk out the vault,with my sweats,my shirt and my mask on.We then start looking for a nice place to perform and gather some people to watch.

"Why don't we just dance altogether,you know with everyone else?" I ask looking for a place to dance.
"Because with different sections of 2's we get multiple gatherings,unlike if we dance together with everyone else ;we'd get only a small portion of money" he explains

I nod understandingly as we look around for a nice wide place to dance on.

We then pick to perform nearby ToysRus.Moose brings out a little speaker out from his backpack and shuffles the music loudly.He places it on the floor,and next to it,his hat to gather the money.

While dancing,many people has already gathered around to watch,some dropping a few dollars in Moose's hat.After ending the second dance,Moose and I start hearing some loud yells and cheers,except they weren't meant for us.We stop dancing,as the music still continues and hear people yelling.

"It's the Samurais!!! They have come back!" Someone yells
"Kid darkness is back at it again!" Someone else yells
"I bet a 20.00$ on the young ones."
"I bet a 20.00$ too on the Samurais"
"Imma add a 15.00$ on both"
"30.00$ on the Samurais!"

Everyone is putting a bet on us.We can't throw this battle,we'll lose our money.

"Let's do it" I say
"You sure?" Moose asks me
"Yea! Listen to your girlfriend,won't you?" A Samurai says.
"She's not my.." Moose tries saying,but the Samurai has already began their dance.
