It has been a week. A week since Izuku Midoriya was given to a group who guaranteed a good life for the quirkless boy. A week since the boy saw his parents, a week since they left him to these strangers. The only issue was that it isn't a good life and that he isn't quirkless.

"Garaki, how is the boy doing?" A tall and large figure asked.

"Just fine old friend. So have you have any luck?" Garaki responded. Turning from his screen, which had models of a certain genetic structure

"No. The boy's quirk factor won't transfer to me" The man answered. "Have you found the reason yet?"

"Maybe. The structure of his factor is unique." He smiled "Try giving him a quirk All for One. I have something to test."

"Very well doctor. After this, we should do the physical tests after this though. I want to see how he holds up." All for One, the ominous man responds.

"Very well so All for One." Garaki started to busy himself with the screen he was at.

Izuku was in a room with dark grey walls. He was taken into the lab yesterday and all he could remember was how it felt with needles and cuts being made all the time. He saw every trickle of blood that exit him yesterday and it was a wonder to the four-year-old how he was still alive.
He looked at his left hand. A fresh scar ran from his wrist to between his middle and ring finger. It travelled across his palm to meet at the wrist. The image of the day before was burned into his eyes. All the cuts made had caused his hand to split between the two fingers, parting his hand into two. The memory of the fibers of muscle quickly growing between the empty space to soon slowly and painfully pull it back together into one hand made him want to throw up, like the last 2 times he already did. His attention was soon taken to the door opening. The man who Izuku had grown to fear entered the room.

All for One usually loved children, because of their innocence. It made them easy to manipulate into hating and even easier to play mind games on. This love however didn't extend to one Izuku Midoriya. The boy's quirk couldn't be taken by him and it annoyed him, he was a symbol of what All for One couldn't just take and control. The second most hated symbol of his. It encouraged him to make the boy fear him so that the feeling of control over the boy's terror made it bearable. "Come child, you did so well in the lab yesterday. I think you should come with again."

Izuku came with reluctantly. He was strapped to a table by doctor Garaki once he was handed to him.

"All for One. Try a mutation quirk on him." Garaki instructed

"Very well." He placed a hand on Izuku. "I think bone spikes will do." He smiled sinisterly as he transferred a quirk to the young boy. In the moment his quirk factor received the addition, the computer on Garaki's table showed the model of Izuku's factor receiving the addition. The factor merged.

Soon enough a spike protruded from the arm of the small boy. Then another just a second later. Another one followed right after. Soon enough ten had formed from the now screaming boy. Just as Garaki was going to tell All for One to take the quirk back, something stopped him. The wheels in the eyes of Midoriya glowed, before turning one eight of a revolution. The sound was of a clock gear turning with a deep echo. It caught everyone's attention, even that of the lightly sobbing boy. The silence didn't last long though as Izuku screamed again when another spike protruded from his arm. There was a slight decrease in speed though.

"Garaki, did you notice that?" All for One asked, in a tone one could only call 'somewhat interested'

"Yes, the model of his quirk factor just changed as well. The bone spike quirk you added is being slightly oppressed. I say we wait and see what happens."

Izuku tried listening to what the two were saying but he was just too focused on the pain coursing through him. With every new spike came an increase in his agony.

Soon enough a second turn occurred with the same echo of a turn. The spikes started to slow in their protrusions more significantly. After a short time another turn. Then a fourth, followed by the fifth, then a sixth, seventh and finally... an eighth. With the eight came a booming echo along with an ethereal wheel. The golden glowing yellow floated over Izuku like a halo, before disappearing from sight after the turn completed

The protrusions stopped after the eighth turn and the momentary silence that followed separated the next few seconds form the previous few scene. The spikes of bone soon started to crumple and fall apart. Leaving Izuku bare of the white thorns. Holes in the flesh littered his body but not for long as they slowly started to close and fix themselves. Fresh white skin left as marks of where protrusions once littered him. Izuku would now just lay there unconscious

Silence followed, only broken by laughter from Garaki. "This is groundbreaking All for One. The quirk you gave him was suppressed by his own quirk factor by the eighth turn." He started to calm down. "Not only that though, the genetic detail of the bone spike quirk was altered to become a transformation quirk."

"Oh is that so?" All for One enquired. It had been a long time since something amusing came up, so this was quite the moment.

"Now you won't have to use that mutation suppressing quirk on yourself when carrying that quirk around. You might as well take it back." Garaki was overjoyed. This could be a life changer.

All for One places his hand on the small boy. He started to take the quirk back. As he finished there was an echoing sound

1 Turn, an eighth of the cycle.

"I think we should try to do as much with him in a short time as possible. I might be wrong but that turn could be for your quirk." Garaki stated. All for One clearly understood what that meant so he quickly took his hand away and tested the altered bone spike quirk.

"I'll keep that in mind Garaki. I feel we have found quite the asset to use." All for One spoke as if he got a new toy.

"I will try keep his adapting from working. I'm not sure if quirk suppressants will work so well on him but they could slow down his adaption." Garaki was already making plans on what to do with him. "Maybe a stress test later down the line."

All for One smiled sinisterly at that. "I think that would certainly help you in your endeavors and mine doctor."
