~Chapter 1~

MIA'S P.O.V

~ Well there's not much to say, just that I'm a normal 19 year old girl who's trying to survive the life in New York City.

Me and my best friend (Claire) live in a small apartment in NEW YORK ~

"CLAIRE CAN YOU GET OUT OF THE SHOWER PLEASE I NEED TO SHOWER TOO", I yelled.

"Yeah I already finished and please stop yelling because sooner or later the neighbors are going to call the police", Claire replied.

'' I don't care about them because this is my house and I can yell whenever I want'', I told her with a little bit of sassy.

"Yeah Miss Sassy girl, just go and shower because we are going to be late for our job interviews" she replied back

Well I got a interview at Starbucks at 10. This happened a few days ago when my friend Jasmine Lawrence told me about her new job at Starbucks, so I got an idea and told her to get me a interview to work together. About Jasmine , well there's not much to say , just that she's my friend. Oh and also I have a gay friend, he's hilarious , he's name is Chris Perez . Most of the time me, Claire, Jasmine, and Chris hang out together. And about the coffee it's just that I always have love to work in a coffee shop since I was little.

I know it's weird that my dream job it's to work at a coffee shop, but what can I say? I just love coffee .

~Claire enters the room~

"At what time is your interview", she asked me.

"I think it's at 10 and yours?".

"Well mines it's at 11 , but we can go together to yours and then mines", she told me happily

"Yeah, and hey I keep asking myself why did you wanted to work at a hotel company?"

"Because not all the people like to work in a coffee shop, and besides they pay me a lot" Claire told me crossing her arms

Just for you to know, my best friend (Claire) loves money, actually she will do anything just for money. Sometimes she's a bit shy, but must of the time she is bit crazy, but well we both are. I really like her hair and omg her eyes, I just wish to be her and she wish to be me, we aren't comfortable with who we are. Also, my best friend is smart not like me , I don't get math, whatever you do to help me it won't work out, it's just who I am. But there's something she can't do and that is to make a good coffee.

CLAIRE'S P.O.V

Hello there how are you? I bet you're as fine as me. You want to know why I'm so happy? Well because in 30 minutes I'm going to go to my job interview , that is in a hotel company. I wanted to work at a hotel company because it gives me a lot of money. Oh and don't be thinking that I'm going to work my entire life there, just for you to know me and Mia are in the university of New York.

We only got this job to pay the apartment and our little stomachs. I go to the university every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , and Thursday. But Mia only goes on Mondays, Tuesday, and Wednesday just because she says that she aren't that smart and she doesn't want her head to explodes. I do 3 hours each day just like her. Today is Friday so that normally means that we don't have to go to the university so we can go to our job interviews. Oh and I forgot to tell you that I'm 19 years old like my best friend MIA.

"Mia hurry up you're interview is in 15 minutes and you're going to be late , and remember that I'm coming with you because my interview is at 11"

"Wait, let me just pick a bracelet " She yelled

OH LORDS I TOTALLY FORGOT. Since Mia was little her mom used to buy her all kinds of bracelets , she even bought her 4 pandoras. And well since that, Mia loves bracelets , I think she even has a crush on them. She likes all kind of JEWELRY!! Like OMG does she has issues??

~Finally is time to leave~

When we got to Mia's interview, she just went to a room to talk to the manager and I was just sitting in a table.

~After 20 minutes~

Finally it was time for my interview. When I got there the building was huge and it looked like it was a really expensive company. I entered with a fright face. I didn't know what to do I was really nervous. Finally a handsome man comes to me and says:

"Are you Claire James?"

"Yeah and you are?"

"I'm the assistance of Mr.Parker ,and I'm gonna be showing you around" he told me shaking my hand

"But aren't you first going to ask me questions to see if I get the job ?''

"You got already the job, we saw your documentations and you are really the person we are looking for" he said

"OMG really that's wonderful"

This is the first time that I just come to a interview and they don't even do me an interview.After minutes of him showing me around he told me that I can just get to work today. I was so happy like Omg i was going to have my own office and my own assistance , I guess.

"Ok so this is your office , hope you like it. And also, I'm going to give you some papers for you to sign  and I will explain everything you have to do" he said

At the end I just spend all my day listening to what I have to do , well listening to mainly what is my job about. It just that damn that man talks a lot , couldn't he just shut up?

It was time for me to go , I was really stressed out for all the talking that the man did. Suddenly when i was leaving the building me and someone crash into each other.

"What is your problem?"

"I'm so sorry " he said

When I finally standed up , the first thing that I saw was the most beautiful green eyes that I have ever seen.
