Huey walked into the ran-down building closely followed by his brother, Riley. But in this line of work he'd be called his "partner"

"Nigga, what kind of shit you think this is?" Riley said, scratching his head as he had clearly been sleep before they arrived there.

They had gotten a lead an hour before that the thing they were tracking for miles is in that very building. Huey held a flashlight, illuminating their path as they walked into the unknown and ventured further into the building.

"I'm pretty sure it's a shapeshifter, same actions, different faces."

Riley sighed, and reached into his jacket pocket, taking out his pistol, loaded with silver bullets. "Here we fuckin' go. We aren't splitting up that's all I know." Riley said.

"Ay!" They heard coming from them and they spun around, Riley was quick to aim his weapon at the source of the noise, but it was a little girl. Huey gave Riley a look before taking a step forward.

"What are you doin here?" He said, as he looked around, his eyes scanning the area for someone else possibly accompanying her but he found none.

"My parents wanted to see the building." She simply said, a look of fear in her eyes.

The building they were in was an attraction in the small town. It used to be an apartment building, in the years that it was built it had caught fire and weird happenings have been reported around the area since, especially during the later times.

Riley shook his head. "Nah, I'on buy that shit. Let's wrap her up and get her ass."

Huey spun his head back and shook his head. "What?"

Riley took in a deep breathe "Nigga, you one dumb smart nigga. That white devil is obviously the shapeshifter." He called.

Huey side-eyed the girl and then his gaze back at Riley. "No, and you're scaring this child."

Riley shook his head, looking towards the ground and chuckling. "I'm scaring this child? Me?" He raised his weapon at the child. "I'm about to shoot this child, she ain't gone let me cause she's a shapeshifter. One." Riley began.

Huey raised his hand. "Look, calm your ass down." He partially standing in the way of the girl. It had no affect, Riley continued counting. "Two."

"Look. You not finn-"

Huey felt a sharp pain in his leg and he looked down, the little girl had driven a piece of glass into his leg.

"I told you nigga!"

Huey collapsed onto the wall and held onto his leg. Riley let off a shot, just barely missing the girl before she turned around and ran down the dark hallway, disappearing after a moment. Riley took a quick look at Huey and then down the hallway. "Nigga go! I'm good!" Huey commanded.

Riley wasted no time sprinting full speed down the hallway, his gun gripped tightly in his hand. He looked around and saw that one of the doors of the apartments was just barely cracked open. He nudged his foot towards the door and gently kicked the door open. The creaking of the old door filled the silent air as Riley walked into the room, his gun trained.

"Come out little bitch!" Riley called into the darkness, as he looked around, he saw something in the corner of the living room moving.

He moved his light towards it, and was about to fire but a voice boomed through the air. "Don't shoot!" He heard a manly voice call out, one of his hands raised , Riley looked at the hand that just appeared from behind the couch. "Show me the other one nigga!" Riley called back.
