Mike came early to school the next day. The school was pretty empty, no one was there yet this early, but his father made him go. He sat in the library reading a book but kept zooning out all the time. After what felt like forever Dustin sat next to him.

"Early today I see" Dustin said.

"Yupp" Mike said a bit dry and the conversation died. They both sat there reading until the rest came. Mike didn't listen what they were talking about until he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"oh sorry what?" Mike asked.

"Damn what's up with you? anyway can we come over today?" Lucas said.

"Oh sorry not today"

"Since when can't we come over" Dustin said.

"Since now"

"Why not?" Eleven asked.

"I have to take care of Holly" Mike lied.

"We can help" Max said.

"I said no, okay?" Mike said annoyed.

"Who have a stick up their ass now" Lucas laughed and Mike just rolled his eyes. The party was going to Wills after school but obiously Mike couldn't come.

They were planning on what they should do.

"I gotta go somewhere" Mike mumbled.

"Where?" Will asked.

"Just there" Mike said and started walking away. The party was confused but continued talking anyway.

Mike walked to his locker to get some books when he saw Troy.

"What do you want?" Mike said annoyed.

"You stupid nerd, stop talking back to me or i'll kill you"

"I'm not a nerd? I'm just smarter then you" Mike said rolling his eyes.

"I said don't talk back!!" Troy raised his voice

"I heard and I don't care and I'm not gonna care the next 20 attemps of you tryna tell me that" Mike said and took his books and walked away.

It was lunch time finally and Mike went to sit with his friends who were already there.

"Mike where is your food" Eleven said.

"I forgot" Mike lied again.

"Just go buy something" Max said.

"I'm not hungry Maxine" Mike said.

Mike then took a appel bite from Will.

"Heyyy that was mine" Will said trying to get it back but it was already in Mikes mouth.

"oopsie" Mike laughed.

They were now sitting in the library. Mike was listening to music in his headphones while the others were talking.

"What are you listening at?" Will asked.

"Just some boaring songs, I should probably complain to spotify for not making you this weeks hottest single" Mike smirked.
