As I ran up the stairs guilt flooded me as I heard Lachlan's scream and cries from our dad and I wanted to protect him but I was too weak . I quickly gathered Mia and Ollie and made them hide with me . Mia was 14 she isn't stupid she knows when something is going on . I covered Ollie's ears and Mia's from the screaming and as soon as my dad went to bed I layed Ollie in his bed and put Mia in my bed and walked out the bedroom too see Lachlan on the floor .
