I have something very special planned for my boyfriend tomorrow. Tomorrow is our third anniversary and the day he gets back from their world tour. I know he hasn't forgotten because he has texted me a million times that it must be fate that he gets back early in the morning on our special day. I have everything set up and planned and have all intentions for him to just relax after how exhausting this tour must have been. The clock is now 10 pm and I am about to head to bed. He must already be on the plane since he hasn't texted me in two hours. but i sent him a goodnight text either way, and lay down to get some rest before the big day. I almost can't believe I haven't seen him in person in 5 months. It takes me a while to finally fall asleep because I am so nervous and excited at the same time.

The next day I wake to my alarm going off at 7 pm, and I wake up almost instantly to get some breakfast quickly and take a shower. As I get ready I begin to feel my heart pump faster by the thought of him almost being in korea again. As I brush my teeth my phone rings and I see it's him. I answered quickly while still having the toothbrush in my mouth. "Hi baby. Are you awake?" I hear him say softly to me. "Yes, I have been awake for an hour now. Happy anniversary!" I say to him, "Happy anniversary my love. Well, I just wanted you to know that we have landed and I will be home in about an hour. Is there anything I need to pick up on the way?" he says while I can hear him smile. "no it 's ok baby. I got everything set." I say to him while I finish with my teeth. "ok i will see you soon then. love you!" he says in his energetic tone. "Love you. can't wait "I say with a little laugh. As we hang up I go to the bedroom and find a lovely dress to wear for the day. I picked my favorite dress that Jacob picked for me when we went shopping together as just friends before we started dating. It's a summer dress that goes right over the knees and hugs my curves, showing off what I got without making it too sexy. I quickly fix up my hair and put on some light makeup. making a last minute call to make sure everything is in check for later. As I leave the bathroom after finishing my makeup I hear the front door open. I sprint down the hall and see him get in the door. "Hi baby!" He almost shouts for me. and I smile brightly and run over to him and jump into his arms, he swings us around as we hug each other tightly. When he lets go a little our eyes look at eachother and our lips meet in an instant kiss that really releases any stress i have had these last couple of days preparing for this. our lips only part for us to breathe again. "I have missed you so much you have no idea." he says to me as he gently puts me down to close the door. "I think I have a pretty good idea. I hope you slept a ton on the plane because I have plans for us today." I said to him with a smile. "oh is that so?" he said. "Of course. i know you have been very busy while on tour and probably are bummed you couldn't do anything for us on our anniversary. So I figured everything out so you don't have to worry about anything and we can have a special day anyway." I say as I grab his suitcase that stands by the door for him to finally walk further in. "But first of all let's get this out of the way." I say referring to the suitcase. "Wait a second." he says, then heads out the door for a split second to then come in again with his hands behind his neck. happy anniversary again my love." he says as he puts his hands out in front of him, one hand holds a bouquet of beautiful flowers while the other has a little present. I smile softly at him as I take the flowers first and head into the kitchen with a little laugh and put them in a vase. Then I head over to him again and take the present from him. We lock eyes and he smiles brightly. I opened it to a little jewelry box with a pretty necklace. "Wow Jacob. It's beautiful. thank you." I say as my eyes light up and a huge smile appears on my face. He giggles and takes it from my hand and puts the necklace around my neck. "So pretty," he says.

We head out the door and go to the car. "So I guess you won't be telling me anything about where we are going?" he says as we get in. "nope. I will navigate you to where you are going." I say with a giggle. He just laughs and begins to drive as I send a message.

After driving and singing our hearts out like we used to, I told him to turn left. "Oh the park?" he said. "yeah i thought we could take a little walk here for a while and talk about how the tour has been even though i already know everything." I say to him, "I love that." he says as he parks the car. we walk for a little bit. he might not know it but I have a special destination in mind right now. as we get closer and just talk we turn around a big hedge that blocks the sight of the park so when we turn it we hear yelling. "Surprise!" i get startled even though i am the one who planned it. Both of our families and his band members stood gathered around a big tree that was where we had our first picnic date. "Happy anniversary guys." his father comes over to us and gives his son a big hug. "Thanks dad. wow i didn't know you had this planned." he says giggling and then scratches the back of his neck.

The hours passed quickly and then all of a sudden the clock was 3. We have been sitting here just relaxing and having fun with everyone we know. Then Jacob suddenly stands up. "Maria?" he says, then looks at me all soft. "What's up with my love?" i actually wanted to ask you something." he says and everything is silent. I guess the timing is great right now. i wanted to do this later but now seems like the best place." he says then gets on one knee. I gasp. "maria. These three years have been like a fairytale with you. and I have never been happier. You are the sweetest most caring girl I have ever met. and everything you do amazes me, even just breathing. Will you do me the honors of being my wife and continue to spread your happiness onto me for the rest of our lives?" he says and he fishes out another little jewelry box from his pocket and opens it to show a ring. tears are falling from my eyes as I smile at him. "yes. a million times yes." I say as I fall down at him to hug him. as we part he places a soft kiss on my lips, then takes my hand and places a beautiful ring on the finger. "It's beautiful." I say as I continue to cry. I haven't even noticed that all the others have been cheering us on.
