Chapter 11

Kaitlyn taken what she could after Graduation and the love of her life gone, she decided to take on her path to college as she promised to Madison. She went for the whole four years also dated a girl named Piper Cunningham who was wonderful until she cheated. After that Kaitlyn began to make plans and try to find Madison. Madison was and is still her one true love she knew that she couldn't give up on her, she loved Madison so deeply that she didn't want the feelings to ever go away.

Erin and Kaitlyn got closer to one another, Kaitlyn considered Erin a very close friend though her father and Erin split up not to long after Madison left but her and Erin still talked off and on. Erin helped Kaitlyn out in more ways then she could imagine, their bond became unbreakable.

"Erin, I can't take it, I am still in love with Madison you know that, hell everyone knows that. Dating other people isn't the same and my mind is always on Madison. I wonder if she still has feelings for me too, I can't stand being away from her, I need to find her and I need to know if she feels the same." Kaitlyn said.

Erin replied smiling. "I know you love her baby girl, you can't just drop everything and go out looking for her."

"I know I can't but mom, I need to if I don't I will regret this decision for the rest of my life and I can't live with myself if I did that." Kaitlyn responded.

"Have you told you're father?" Erin asked.

"No, I haven't, he hasn't talked to me much since you two split up. What was that about anyways?" Kaitlyn replied.

"That is something that doesn't need to be discussed now." Erin responded.

"I am going to head out here in a few days." Kaitlyn replied.

"If you need anything just let me know." Erin responded. "I love you Kaitlyn and I want you to be happy."

"I love you too, mom. I will once I find her." Kaitlyn replied.

Erin hugged Kaitlyn responding, "Please be careful."

"I will." Kaitlyn replied smiling.

Kaitlyn stayed home a few days packing everything up, she didn't want to leave home quite yet until she spoke to her father though she knew he would disagree ever since the split he's been over working and hasn't made time for her.

Ryan sat his work stuff on the table looking over at Kaitlyn seeing that she had a over night bag in her hand saying, "Where do you think you are going?"

Kaitlyn raised a brow replying, "Going to find Madison."

Ryan shook his head responding, "I wish you would just forget about her and try dating again."

"I can't forget about her, dad. She's my everything just like mom and Erin was for you." Kaitlyn replied.

Ryan came to her standing toe to toe with Kaitlyn with red in his eyes responding, "Don't you dare bring Erin and you're mom into this conversation. You aren't leaving here and that is final."

"I am old enough to make up my own mind, dad. I am leaving and their isn't nothing you or anyone else can do about it." Kaitlyn replied with a growl in her voice.

Next thing she knew Kaitlyn felt a hand go across her face and she's down on the floor in tears then he grabbed Kaitlyn by the throat slamming her against the fridge.

"Listen here, little lady I am in charge and I am telling you to stay put if you know what's best for you. If I find out you ran to go find Madison or go to Erin, I will have you back here in no time flat. I am done with this lesbian bullshit that you have brought upon this family." Ryan said with anger.

Kaitlyn fought her tears as she knew it is going to be now or never to get away from her father. Now, she knew why her mom and Erin walked away from him. Kaitlyn felt her dad release her then stormed off to his room as she grabbed her duffle bag and bee lined to her car before it's to late.

Kaitlyn made it to Erin's then knocked on her door numerous times when Erin finally answered she brought Kaitlyn inside.

"I thought you left." Erin said.

Kaitlyn shook her head no replying, "Not yet but dad just choked and slapped me practically forcing me to stay with him and hating the fact I am lesbian."

Erin held Kaitlyn responding, "Do you have everything packed?"

Kaitlyn nodded replying, "Everything is in the car, I am going to leave before he shows up here and starts in again."

Erin agreed and hustled her back to the car as they gave hugs and kisses one last time. Kaitlyn got on the highway and headed to the only next popular location Madison would be which is California.
