2 || I Could've Handled That!

Chifuyus POV:

I was walking home after meeting two new people, and I couldn't get them out of my head. This is unlike me, usually I don't take interest in random people but those two.. they are different. While walking home, a group of gangster wannabes come up to me, making me stop right in front of them. "Hey Matsuno!" One of the members calls out. "Hey, jackass! Who the hell do you think you are, punting around my precious kohai?" The big guy at the front yells. "This guy is the leader of the motorcycle gang, Mandala!" One of his guys says to me, but I'm still unfazed. "Your done for now! that's what you get for defying us, Matsuno!"

I just stand there as the big dude walks towards me, and gets right up close to my face. "We are going to beat some manners and respect into you, boy." He shouted. I still give him no reaction, which then makes all of them confused. I then headbutt his nose as hard as I can, which makes him stumble back, while holding his nose that's covered in blood. "My bad, I was trying to greet you, but I 'accidentally' hit you instead!" I said, which makes all of their eyes widen. I start taking off my jacket, knowing that there is going to be a fight.

"Ambushing one guy with a group? Motorcycle gang my ass" I exclaimed, while cracking my neck and knuckles. "How lame." I said coldly, as I spat on the ground getting ready. They then all come at me, one by one. I kept punching and kicking them all to the ground, until they started grouping up.

A group of 5 of them surround me, as I'm panting from taking on the other ones. I'm not gonna be able to hold off much longer, I thought. Then I can see the big guy from before, walking back over, but he's holding something.. "Ill crack your damn head open!" shouted the leader, while holding.. a mop! 'Shit'... I thought, 'he's using a weapon?'.

Then all of a sudden, I hear a voice come from behind him. "Fighting one kid with a huge group?" a male voice said. "And with a weapon. just how lame can you get?" a womanly voice exclaimed, as I heard a little giggle come from the girl. as the big guy moves to turn around, I finally see who is there.

My eyes widen at the sight. Its the nerd and that girl from earlier! What are they doing here? "Hey, I managed to get that letter out! Thank you again." Shouted Baji. (y/n) rolled her eyes, "Yeah, it took you long enough." she mumbled. Baji shot her a glare. "To thank you, we will help you out." Baji added. A smirk formed on (y/n)'s face. "What are you guys doing here? You'll get hurt!" I yelled at them, trying to warn them. "I can handle this myself, just leave while you can."

"No offence, but I don't know if you got this alone or not, just by how it looks right now." (y/n) exclaimed, as she looked around at everyone that's here. I sigh, it looks like they aren't gonna listen.. I thought.

One of the guys went up to (y/n), and looked her up and down. "Well, well, well.. what's a pretty girl like you doing here?" the man said, as he chuckled a bit. He tries to move closer to her, but as he does, she wastes no time kicking him, hard, in the gut. The guy clenches his stomach and wraps his arms around them, bending over slightly as he does that. (y/n) then took her elbow, and hit him right in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground, unconscious. "Ew, no thanks." She said, with no reaction on her face. Just a cold stare that sent shivers even down my spine.

"Well, my turn then!" Baji yelled, as he took off his glasses and undid his hair. "First Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang, Baji Keisuke!" he exclaimed as he cracked his knuckles, getting ready for a fight. Everyone else in the so-called gang had their jaw dropped to the ground, as they were all getting scared now. Despite being scared, they all rushed at the two standing there. One by one, more bodies were dropping and more blood was spilling.

It didn't take long for all of the members that were there to be on the ground, either unable to move or unconscious. Even I was scared at their power. But at the same time, I admire them. This was the first time I had ever felt this way about people, usually I don't care about anyone. "Hah! I almost broke a sweat." (y/n) claimed, as she looked over at Baji. Baji looked at her, and he whispered something to her, leaving me confused as i didn't hear what he said.

(y/n) then comes over to me, as I'm kneeling on the ground, a little tired. She sticks out her hand, offering to help me up, as she flashes me a small smile, the same one she did earlier too. I just simply stared at her for a minute, trying to understand everything that just happened. I guess I ended up staring for a little to long, as she then looked a bit confused, but I was to busy trying to understand what happened that I didn't notice, and I was still staring right at her.

Her face started getting a little bit red as I kept staring, without meaning to. Baji then walks up beside her, and waved his hand in my face screaming "Hello?? is anyone in there?" Then I finally snapped out of it. After realising that I was just sitting there staring at her, my cheeks got a little red out of embarrassment. "Ah! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to stare! I was just.. lost in my own little world.." I tried to hurriedly explain, as I rub the back of my head.

She giggles a little bit at me, "Its okay, everything did go by a little fast" she reassured. I then stick out my hand and grab hers, and she helps me up. Once I got up on my feet, I let go of her hand and looked at both of them. Baji's slightly taller than me, while I'm quite a bit taller than (y/n). "Thank you guys for helping me, even though I totally had that under control" I said as I tried to play it off cool. "Yeah right dude, sure looked like it." Baji chuckled. "I mean it! I could've handled that!" I look at them seriously as they slightly laugh at me. I sighed, knowing that they don't believe me one bit.

"Hey, Matsuno! You like Peyoung Yakisoba?" (y/n) asked, again with that slight smile on her face. "Uh, Yes I do. Also you can just call me Chifuyu, no need with the formalities." I said, while looking away slightly. "Alright then, Chifuyu, wanna come get some with us? we can split it 3 ways!" Exclaimed (y/n), as she had an even bigger smile on her face. My heart started beating a bit faster, with how she said my name. I don't know why, I just like how it sounds coming out of her mouth.. I don't understand this feeling. "Alright, let's go then!" I agreed.
