Chapter 1: A Painful Memory

Claire's P.O.V

"Hannah! Where are you?" I whispered/screamed.

After a few minutes she finally answered, "I'm behind the tree beside you." "Oh. Sorry i didn't notice there was a tree beside me" I told her sheepishly "Anyways we should continue walking before they find us."

Hannah and I began walking again, we kept walking around the woods until we heard people's voices not to far in front of us. "Hannah don't those voices sound familiar?" I asked smirking. "Why Claire now that you have mentioned it. They do sound familiar." she answered while pretending to think.

We started walking closer to the voices and when we got close enough, we saw our three brothers Caleb, Zac and Bryan talking to each other not even sensing we were here. "Bingo." I mind-linked Hannah. We looked at each other and started raising our guns. We both aimed for our targets and in the count of three we shot them. They fell to the ground and started grumbling because they lost.

We ran up to them and I screamed "In your faces we win. I told you we're better in paintball fights than you guys."

"Ya ya whatever." Zac said while wiping paint off his goggles.

The boys stood up and we all walked back to the pack house talking about the school year that's about to start. When we got to the big land that has the Pack House/Mansion, Other Single Houses for some of our guards with mates and kids, The playground, The mini Zoo, Some sheds and Our house. We all walked to the shed that held all our paintball stuff and put our guns, helmets, goggles and suits away. After we walked back to the pack house and went inside.

Caleb's P.O.V

After our little paintball war we all went back to the pack house. Once we got their some people said Hi and Hello. While some people just bowed a little. After we all separated and I went straight to the kitchen and got a cold glass of water.

When i was done my drink I walked outside and saw Claire sitting on the grass staring at her phone close to crying so I went over to her and asked, "What's wrong Claire Bear?"

At first she didn't answer but then she replied crying a little, "I just got a text from Scott saying he doesn't like me anymore because he found someone better and broke up with me." When i heard that i got super mad but instead of blowing up, I hugged my baby sister. "It's ok Claire Bear, he doesn't deserve your tears. He is a stupid boy if he thinks someone that new someone is better than you." i told her.

After hugging each other Hannah came over to us. "Guess what!" she said excitedly. "What?" Claire answered. " This guy Scott I think that's his name. Just asked me out. I've seen him around before but i can't remember where, oh well he is super hot."

I quickly looked over to Claire only to see her running to our house crying. "Way to go Hannah, you made her cry!" I screamed at her. "What. Why? What did i do." she asked confused "The reason you think you've seen Scott before is because he was Claire's boyfriend, who just broke up with her because he told her he found someone better." Hannah just stared at me looking like she finally connected the dots. "Oh." was all I heard because I started running after Claire, while mind-linking Amanda, Chloe, Bryan, Zac, Nicholas and Hayden what happened.

Ones I reached the house I went straight to Claire's room which was on the Fourth floor. When i got up there I saw that they were already there trying to get Claire to open the door, but failing miserably. I walked past them and went straight to her door and knocked while saying, " Claire Bear come on open up. Please, we're all here for you." "Caleb is right you know. Come on open up Bubbles." Said Chloe.
